A/N: Just so you people know I plan on this fic only being a one-shot. I don't plan to add to it. I only wrote this because I like this song but I couldn't really figure out a good way to work this song into my other fic 'Hey Girl', but I had an idea for a quick story using this song.

out of the classroom wearing the smile that I'll bring you.
I was hoping to learn a few things like..
Do you do you like dishing the dirt
on the whole class or
talking the big smack or

"Hey colonel. What you up to?" Sam asked as she walked into Jack's office.
"Carter hey. Nothin' really just trying to figure out away to get out of doing this paper work." Jack answered with a bored look on his face. "You?"
"Nothing much." Jack just looked at Sam in suprise but shook it off. "So me and Janet were planing on going to that celebration party thing everybody else is going to and I was wondering if you planned on going?" Sam continued.
So I say...
"I've been scheduled to work but I'll call in
and my friend isn't busy
he'd be happy to join me
and maybe my friend
and your friend
will hit it off or maybe we will?"
"Well I do have a lot of paper work that I should get caught up on before Hammond has my head....Ah what the hell it's been waiting to get done for the last month whats a few more hours. Besides this will give me a good reason to drag Daniel away from his books."
I'm dying to know
do you do you like dreaming of things
so impossible or only the practical
or ever the wild or waiting through all your bad bad days
just to end them with
someone you care about
and do you like making out
and long drives and brown eyes
and guys that just
don't quite fit in
yeah do you like them
So yes, I'll see you there.
"So yeah me and Daniel will be there, even if I have to drag him kicking and screaming, and we'll see you and Janet there."
"Thats great sir I'll see you then." Sam then walked out with a big grin on her face. Now all she had to do was convince Janet to go.
