Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter or any of it's characters those all
belong to Miss J.K. Rowling herself.
A/N: This is just a poem I whipped up in my head during chemistry class
because I was bored out of my mind. It's about Draco telling Hermione how
much he cared or cares about her, but he was too afraid to because of what
would happen if he admitted it and now it's too late. It basically shows
Draco's softer side.
My Cowardly Secret
Roses are red,
Violets are blue.
I don't really hate you,
I very truly love you.
My father tells me to hate you,
I don't think he has a clue,
As to how I actually feel about you.
I really do care about you.
You tell me you hate me
But I see something else in your eyes
At first it seems like you care
But then it changes into a glare.
If my parents knew how I felt
I'm sure they'd kill you without a doubt.
So here I am suppressing my feelings
Masking my love for you with hate.
I'm sorry for the pain I've caused you,
For calling you a mudblood, and all
They were just meant to hide my cowardly secret
Which I was always too afraid to admit.
You deserve someone better than me,
Someone not afraid of admitting his feelings at all,
I hope you find happiness with Ron.
