"What did you do, Lucius?" Severus whispered into the thin night as his dark eyes fell on the still and seemingly dazed form of his wife. The suddenly thin and tall form of his wife who had always been short and dumpy.
That had been part of her charm.
The soft baby flesh of her arms. When he looked at them he always thought of a little girl giggling and skipping rope, even though he knew they could punch just as hard as any other girl he'd ever known. The soft swell of her cheeks made her look angelic in a way the emaciated forms of Narcissa or Bellatrix never would.
Her thighs hid there muscles so well that he could sleep on them and swear they where made of the same substance as her breasts. He loved the way her hips curved out to remind him that she was a woman. Every time he looked at Narcissa's straight hips he was reminded of a 13 year old Draco. But not his wife, his wife was a woman with all the curves and soft flesh that made him want to protect her and touch her.
He loved that she was short too. That they made such an odd couple, him all angles and imposing hight while she merrily talked at a good foot and a half lower. The only thing they had in common where eyes as black as night.
"What did you do!" He asked again, panic straining his words and his flung himself at her feet and rested his hands on her now bonnily thin thighs. She sat looking straight ahead, blankly.
"What did I do?" Lucius sneered, "I fixed your little dumpling! I thought you'd be grateful. No more cringing in your bed. She looks a million times better, Severus. Not to mention she'll be better trained. Side effects and all that." the last was mumbled.
Severus looked up as her dark eyes slowly lowered to meet his own and a slow wistful smile spread across his loves face. Her cheeks where stretched across her thin face and made her look icy cold.
She lifted out a hand to touch his cheek and whisper his name before staring back at the wall.
Severus clenched his eyes closed painfully. This was worse then if she'd been killed. She was gone and yet still here. Damaged by spells that most wizards where too smart to think of casting.
Permanent glamours did irreversible brain damage.
"Fine! Don't thank me!" Lucius huffed in annoyance, "But you mark my word, Severus. You'll be floeing me tomorrow to positively gush with appreciation. No more talking back! You can make her do ANYthing you want. Not to mention you'll want to do so much more with her now that she's unable to let herself go... ah well. I'll leave you for now to greave the loss of your 'independent woman'."
