Lily woke to the sound of a rock hitting her window. "Evans...Evans!" A voice said outside her window. Lily tried to roll over but that voice was so persistent. She looked over at the clock it was 12:11 am. THUNK! A rock hit her window again. "Fine I am coming... whoever you are," Lily said as she strode over to the window sleepily. She opened the window to see James Potter's face looking up at her a rock held loosely in his hand ready to throw. "What POTTER!" Lily yelled loud enough to wake the neighborhood. "Sorry Evans for living," James said sarcastically. "Potter what right do you have to wake me up at this ungodly hour?" she shouted at him. Noticing that he was hiding some thing behind his back. "Oh Evans I just thought you might like a ride on my new broom that I got for going in to Year 7 at Hogwarts," James smirked mischievously. Potter had lived next door to her as long as she could remember, their parents had been really good friends so she saw him a lot in the summers to her annoyance. James flew up to her window. Her Vivid green eyes looked at him questioningly. "Would you like to come for a ride?" he asked. The name she had read was a Star Arrow 10,000 was her eyes playing tricks on her the fastest broom in all history (So far). "Do you like it Lils?" James asked. Using her old nickname from when she was younger, when at that one time they had been so close. Like brother and sister. She had almost forgot that nickname he used to call her. "Wow Jays that is a really expensive broom," she said astonished. He smiled at that old name she called him once many times before when they were younger. "Yeah, I new that already! So will you... please?" James pleaded. "Umm I don't know how do I know that you're not going to to play a prank on me," Lily asked. "Don't you trust me?" James' hazel eyes locked in a gaze with her vivid green ones that look said I won't hurt you I promise. "Alright," she said giving in. James brought his broom to the window and grabbed her waist and put her on the broom. It was a very warm night luckily for her. For she was in a long thin black shirt with a daisy on it and very short shorts. Only they were blue. "Hold on Lils, this broom goes seriously fast," said James. Smiling to him self for being so clever. Zoom the broom went and Lily clung onto James, trying not to fall.
