Chapter 5
During the flight back I was really quiet. I had made up my mind...I was going to spill everything when I got back to the school. I had too.
Magneto noticed I was thinking a lot, and he asked me what I was thinking so hard about. I didn't tell him anything I just told him I was fine. Then I added that I couldn't stay with him; he nodded and left me alone with my thoughts.

It feels kind of weird coming back...like I did something wrong. They probably didn't even know I was gone and you know what...I'm used to it by now. Anyway, I've always felt weird at the institute. I don't fit in, but then again I don't fit in anywhere.
I hesitate to open the front door. Why? I don't know I just did. I took a deep breath, turned the knob and walked in. I was nervous about what I was about to do, so I started to flick the lid on my lighter. Eyes would stare at me as I passed them by. I surprised myself by ignoring them when normally I would have flipped them the birdie.
I finally reached the top of the stairs and I made it to my destination with out running into the teachers. I just didn't want to explain myself at that moment...well at least not to them.
I knocked on the door softly so hopefully she wouldn't hear it...you know so I could just walk away and tell her later...but she heard it.
"Come in"
I pocketed my lighter and I opened the door slowly. As soon as I walked in Rogue gave me a hug then she backed away.
She turned her back to me, "I know you went with Magneto...how could you?"
"I didn't *go* with him...I needed a lift because I was lost...Rogue I really, really need to tell you stuff..."
I guess she heard the seriousness and truth in my voice because she turned around and sat on her bed. She motioned me to sit next to her, so I did.
"First of all you have to promise me that you won't tell anyone...not even Bobby"
"I promise" she said
I made sure her eyes met mine when she answered then I continued "I'm not always myself sometimes. On the outside it may look like me but not in here." I point to my head. "Pyro tries to take over my body when he gets an opportunity and he did a few times. So far being the most destructive at Bobby's house. I guess you can say I have a split personality"
"How could you keep this to yourself?"
"I've kept things like that inside of me my whole life. I wasn't going to tell anyone but I thought I would feel better"
"Do you?"
"Yes, but there's more I need to spill" I paused for a moment. "Pyro is always talking to me...a-l-w-a-y-s"
"Yea I know how that feels...so I guess that means he's talking to you now?"
I sighed then said "Unfortunately yes"
"What is he saying?"
"You don't want to know..."
"Just tell me"
I wasn't going to tell her what he was saying because it wasn't nice, so to change the subject fast I leaned over and kissed her. I didn't forget about Bobby by the way...but I still had to do it. It was short and sweet...she drained me but I knew she would unintentionally...I'm not a moron. (A/N: Yea I'm calling Bobby a moron...because in the movie what did he expect when he kissed Rogue at his house?)
"I'm sorry" she said
"Sorry for what? I kissed you and besides I would do it again in a heart beat...I'll prove it to you right now"
She smiled, and then she jumped off the bed and started to stare out the window.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"You just surprised me that's all..."
"I just wanted to show you how I felt so just keep that in mind...since I haven't forgotten that you're with Bobby"
"We should find the Professor...he should know that you're back"
She was right so I agreed and we left her room. As I was walking beside her I noticed I was still getting those same stares. That's when I asked Rogue "Does everybody know I went with Magneto?"
She nodded.
I started to say "BOO" to everyone I passed by because the stares were getting lame. I only got to amuse myself for a short period of time because eventually Rogue punched my arm and told me to cut it out.
I smiled and said "Is that the best you can do?"
She probably would have hit me again harder but we ran into Bobby. As soon as he saw me his facial expression changed. He did what everybody else was doing; he started to stare. I gave him a wave and said "nice to see you too."
"Get away from her!" He yelled.
I said "I'm not even going to ask you what your problem is because I already know, but you don't know shit so chill out...it can't be that hard especially for you"
That got Bobby pissed and he was about to ice me...well at least try...when Rogue jumped in between us.
Pyro wanted me to blurt out that I kissed his girl friend. I wasn't going to ruin any chances I had with Rogue for the future so I told Pyro to shut up. I started to laugh thinking about Bobby's reaction if I had told him.
"What's so funny Dyce?" Bobby asked.
"Wouldn't you like to know" I said as I was leaning on the wall.
Rogue started to give me a death stare, so I winked at her and she started to blush. Bobby is so oblivious it's very amusing.
"Bobby don't make a scene." Rogue said.
"Why are you defending him?" Bobby asked.
(A/N: Well that's as far as I got...I'll try to update ASAP but I can feel a writer block coming my way...and school is ending for me so I *should* prepare for my finals, so those will also prevent me from updating sooner, but trust me I will update when I can! R&R thanks)
