Darien Chiba. Your average everyday playboy. Half Irish and half Japanese
with the dark black hair that looks almost blue against the sun, from his
dad's side, and midnight blue eyes, from his mom's side, to make this
heartbreaker even more alluring. Don't get me wrong; deep down inside he
really is a good kid. He looks out for his sisters, Rei and Hotaru [or at
least... he looks out for them when he's not too busy hitting on another
girl], and would do just about anything for his parents. Not to mention the
fact that he's ranked among the most intelligent students at his school.
Yup, this guy had everything going for him. A loving family, high grades,
and confidence... a whole lot of confidence. One might actually take this
confidence as extreme cockiness and conceitedness. But hey, then again, why
shouldn't he be cocky? All the girls want him and all the guys want to be
him. Oh yeah... life is good. Very good.
Enter Serena Tsukino. A new student at Crossroads High; the very same school Darien goes to. Your not so average teenage girl. Although she does love to shop [what girl doesn't?], she's also very athletically gifted with top notch grades that even this lowly writer is jealous of. She also has a very supportive family that has stood by her through thick and thin, especially all the heartache and drama she went through last year at her old school. Her older brother, Andrew, is very very very over-protective, always watching out for his 'little' sister, especially when it comes to guys. What guy wouldn't want to go for her; with her silvery blonde hair that reaches about mid-back, soulful blue eyes that are brighter than a sunny day, a body with all the right curves, and a mind that lets her think for her own. However, Serena doesn't need Andrew's help. She does just fine on her own. Remember when I mentioned that she's not your everyday girl? That's because she's given up on guys. Tall ones, short ones, smart ones, athletic ones... you name it, she won't fall for it.
Life in this town should start to get very interesting, especially with these two. Darien has a reputation to uphold and Serena has her pride and independence to keep.
Let the games begin.
Well, that's it for now. What'd you guys think? Worth continuing? Hit the review button to tell me what you think of it so far. Also, I'm still in the process of coming up with a title. So if this story does continue, and I still don't have a title for it later on, feel free to tell me your ideas.
