Return of the Hunter
When Superintendent Tom Chandler arrived at the primary school the children where being evacuated, the parents where arriving to collect their children and leaving. Meanwhile as Tom made his way up to the room where the Trojan Sergeant was waiting, Sergeant Ledbetter was looking at some plans of the school. Finnessey is getting impatient and wonders where Rory his son is. Bob says that they're probably having difficulty finding him. Bob starts talking to Finnessey and trying to reason with him, with no affect but a sudden outburst of the man's life story. Finnessey becomes emotional and says that he can't part with Rory because his mother (Rory's) won't let him. Tom meets Sergeant Ledbetter, who tells him that the two officers on site (Julie and Smiffy) are SO19 probationers, however another specialist team is on the way, but won't arrived for at least half an hour. Ledbetter asks if there is any psychological profile. Tom says that Finnessey is potentially violent, but isn't too concerned because this is a domestic. Ledbetter comments that domestics are usually the worst because you don't know what they'll do next. Smiffy and Julie enter the room. Smiffy is surprised to see Tom and likewise with Tom. They give their report. Smiffy says the best place is on the roof, because that is where the best possible shot can be obtained. Tom says that he doesn't want any shooting and only wants the situation contained. But, he agrees to them being positioned on the roof. Just then the Trojan Superintendent Holly James walks in." Right don't get too flattered I'm here, It's just I know Finnessey." Just then Tom and holly's eyes meet. "I'm Holly James Superintendent of Trojan, Hi!" "Tom Chandler Superintendent of Sun Hill Police, nice to meet you" Tom says smiling "Likewise" And holds out her hand for Tom to shake "So what's the news"" She looks at Ledbetter "Um well, a hostage situation, one female teacher and a male sergeant from Sun Hill." "What teams do we have here?" She asks looking out of a window "Dale and Julie ma'am" he then glances at Julie and Smithy who are still in the room "The probationers from SO19" Holly looks at smithy and Julie, "Probationers! We have two PROBATIONERS!" Holly roles her eyes and turns to look out the window. "We have another specialist team on the way, but they'll be a while yet marm" "Perfect! Right where are you going to hold your positions, Dale?" Turning to look at him "The Roof ma'am, it's the best place for a clear shot." " Very well, I've got my faith in you two" Turns to face the window "Don't let me down yeah!" Smithy and Julie look at each other, "MARM"
"So what's you intake on the sargeant then Tom?" Turns to look at him "Old school, but he won't over dramatise the situation," says Tom. "Good coz' I really do not need a Tom Cruise right now, well maybe later" winking at Chandler.
