As Lily stumbled along down the corridor towards her next lesson, she caught a glimpse of the most handsome face in school, James Tristan Potter. At this moment in time he was surrounded by girls as usual, and all his mates were too.
Lily had never been popular, and never had any friends. Her deep red hair was tied too neatly back into a bun and her emerald green eyes were half blocked out by her thick rimmed glasses. Basically she was one of the geekiest people in the school. And the worst thing was she was in love with James Potter.
Dumbledore stood to announce who would be the new Head girl and Head Boy. Lily glanced around her and scanned the crowd for the "Head Boy" badge. Her own "Head Girl" badge was pinned neatly onto her robes. The new head girl is... Lily Evans" announced Dumbledore. "And the Head Boy is ... James Potter." Lily groaned. It was bad enough being teased by him in almost every lesson, but in her room as well! This is too much, Lily thought. As she scrambled to her feet and collected her school bag, she heard a loud voice coming from the centre of a crowd of girls along the Gryffindor table. "Unfortunately, I'm stuck with the geekiest girl in the school for company. Well I guess ill have to stay out of that dormitory more often then!" The girls surrounding him giggled, but only to get his much wanted attention. Lily sighed and stode out of the Hall.
AN- sorry about that first chappy! When I loaded it on it went... wrong!! Thanks for the reviews. I can't believe how many I got and not even the first chappy was done! Sorry that it stopped in the middle of a sentence! I might not update for a while coz I have a problem with the computer.
