Chapter 7:

"Come on! There´s 10 minuts till class starts." Melinda shouted at Sirius, who was busy looking at the cheerleading team that was practising at the football field.

Remus turned around, grabbed Sirius by the arm and dragged him along. Not to Sirius' liking that is.

"Moony get your hands off me! Your messing up my clothes... I have to look my best!"

Melinda shook her head and rolled her eyes... How arrogant could you be?

"Hey Melinda. What are we going to tell them at the school?" Remus asked

"I'll guess we tell then that you are my cousins, and it would be a good idea to tell them that your only here temporrarily.

Sirius turned around. "Melinda?" "Yes?" "How long do you think it will take before we can get back to Hogwarts"

"I didn't that mattered anymore" Remus said with a grin and a nod towards cheerleaders.

"Well... It won't be the same. How can I live without teasing Snivillus?" He said, trying to look depressed.. But soon it ended in laugh..

They ran towards the entrence, and into the hall.

"We'll go to the principals office" Melinda said as they walked down the hall

(about 2 minuts later)

"There it is! The principals office" Melinda said and pointed at a sign saying:

"Herman?" Sirius took a closer look at the sign "Is that even a name?"

Melinda knocked on the door.

"Come in" a voice from the inside shouted

Melinda opened the door and pushed Remus and Sirius inside, before entering herself.

"Ah Miss?"

"Chablis, Melinda Chablis sir."

"Miss Chablis, what can I do for you?" the principal asked.

The principal was a short elderly man, with brown hair.

"Is it just me or does he look like Fudge?" Sirius asked whispering to Remus.

Remus nodded but didn't say anything, insted he looked at the wall. It was full of stuffed animal. Including a grey wolf.

"Yeah isn't it a beauty? Shot it myself" The principal said when he noticed Remus staring at the wolf.

Melinda could see that Remus was scared, and she could understand why. It probably reminded him of himself when he transformed into a werewolf. A werewolf! That was what Remus and Sirius talked about when Remus asked how they should manage it! How could she forget..?

cough cough Melinda turned her head to look at Sirius that stared at her..oh yeah better be moving on.

"Principal Johnsson, these are my cousins Brandon and Nicholas they just arrived from France, and will be staying at our house for some time..."

"France huh? Such a beautiful country and a great language too... I took a trip to France in my young days, you know.. to find myself... I ran in to a beautiful woman..."

"Principal Johnsson, we really have to get to class" Melinda said trying not to laugh. "I just wanted to ask if it's okay they take the same subjects as I?"

"Miss Chablis we can't just have strangers running around school... On the other hand... sure why not..as long as they don't cause trouble"

Melinda looked at Sirius who tried to do his best I-would-never-make-trouble-because-i'm-a-nice-guy look and then at Remus who was smiling.

God he's cute when he smiles. No Melinda stop thinking like that!

She took her gaze away from Remus. "Thank you Mr. Johnsson" She began to walk toward the door when all of the sudden:

"Wait a minut Miss Chablis"

Melinda turned around "Yes?" Now it would come.... He would tell her that they couldn't stay without a signature from their parents.

"Maybe I should write a note to your teacher telling them that you were here, so they don't think that you are slackers."

Melinda, Remus and Sirius all sighed. Apparently they had all thought the same thing.

"yeah maybe that's a good idea.. thank you."

She took the note and the 3 teenagers walked out the door. Once they were out in the hall Remus said what Melinda had thought since they stepped into the principals office.

"This will never work out!"

"Sure it will" Sirius said "We are going to make it work, we don't have much choice"

knock knock

"Come in!" the english teacher shouted

Melinda entered the classroom along with Sirius and Remus. Everyones gaze was fixed on the two new boys. Both extremely cute (Author Note: Am I right or what? smiles )

She gave the principals note to the teacher (Ms. Mcphearson)

"Well children, this is Brandon and Nicholas our 2 new students. I expect of you to be nice to them, and show them a good time. Do I make myself clear!"

cough cough McGonagall cough cough

"Yes Maam"

"Brandon, Nicholas why don't you sit over there?" she pointed at 2 tables right next to Melinda and Lisa.

Melinda, Sirius and Remus sat down.

"Well.. I guess you have to share books with Melinda and Lisa for this lesson. You may go to the library in the break. And now please turn to page 22 in your book. Tony you'll start reading"

The kid named Tony started reading out loud from the textbook.

Ring Ring The lesson ended. Melinda grabbed Sirius and Remus by their arms and dragged them along toward the library.

As they ran around a corner, Melinda litteraly ran into the head cheerleader, and the biggest bitch at school. Bianca.

"Watch where you going freak!" she spat

"Sorry I didn't see you" Melinda said as she could feel Remus trying to get her on her feet.

"You okay Melinda?" he asked looking extremely addorable

"Yeah i'm fine" She could see Bianca getting on her feet, brushing the dirt of her skirt and looking at Sirius.

"Hi i'm Bianca" she said putting forth her hand

Sirius took it and shook it "I'm Nicholas, and that's Brandon" He said pointing at Remus

"Nice to meet you... you know.. you should't run around with ms. Freak there.. could ruin your reputation before you even get it.."

Both Remus and Sirius crossed their arms. "Well that would make us the mr. Freaks. We're her cousins!" Sirius said in a angry tone. Remus stood forth "And don't talk to her like that!"

Melinda didn't know what to say, they had just defended her.. in front of the most popular girl in school.

The library was almost empty. Besides the Librarian and a little kid, no one was in the room.

Sirius and Remus had gotten their book, and they were about to go to class.

"Wait a minut, i'll be right back" Melinda said, then she ran back into the library. When she got out, she had 4 books with her. Before Remus and Sirius which books it were, she stuffed them down in her bag.

"Hurry up guys, we have history class next"

When they arrived, they noticed that the teacher wasn't there. They quickly sat down..

Melinda checked her watch. "He should be here by now" And as she finished her sentence, their History teacher Mr. Jules entered the room.

He was half muttering, and they only heard parts of the words he was saying.

"Sorry.. car.. traffic....damn taillight...police...ticket"

He slammed his briefcase down on the desk, tock the crayon and wrote on the board: WITCH HUNT

"Today we'll talk about when young sometimes innocent women was convicted of witchcraft."

Melinda shoot a glance at Remus. His gaze was fixed on the board... It was so hard to understand what he was thinking.. And then there's Sirius. She looked over at him. He was smiling. "Oh no, what is he up to" she whispered to herself.

"The thing that happend to these witches was the worst thing ever. They got burned on the stake. People back then belived that they would burn in the flames of hell." The teacher continued. "As soon as the woman could feel the flames on her skin, she began to scream."

"Actually sir, your wrong" Sirius stated. Every students head in the class turned to see the person who actually dared interrupt Jules

"I don't think so Mr.?"

"Bla...I mean Chablis. Related to Melinda.. fathers side you know" he said.. Can't belive I almost said my name was Black

"Well Mr. Bla.. I mean Chablis. Will you please explain why i'm wrong?"

"Padfoot just shut it" Remus whispered to Sirius. "Why? this is going to be fun."

Sirius stood up.

"Actually these witches used a freezing spell. The flames didn't burn, they tickled. Alot of witches got caught more than once on purpose because they liked it so much"

Most of the students laughed..But some of them were sure they had read that somewhere.

Remus grabbed Sirius' arm and made his sit on his chair. "I don't think that was such a good idea Padfoot." And now that Sirius looked around, he could see that most of the student looked at him like he was completely mad..

"Someone read Harry Potter huh?" A girl in back yelled. Now it hit most of the other students.. of course.. Harry Potter.. that's where they had read it.

Sirius wanted to talk back, but Remus kicked him over the leg, and he decided it would be best to shut up.

"Well Mr. Chablis, that was very informing. Now can we continue the lesson?"

Sirius nodded.

That evening Melinda smuggled out food into the treehut, along with more pillows and blankets.

After dinner she walked out to Sirius and Remus.

"Hey guys"

"Hey Melinda. What do you have there?" Remus asked pointing at Melindas school bag.

"Remember that I walked into the library again? Well.. this is what i was looking for." She emptied the bag, and out fell 4 books.

(Author Note: I don't dare making Melinda tell Sirius that he is going to die. That's why The Order of the Phoenix isn't a part of the books she is looking for in the library)

"I think it is about time we talk about this. Maybe we can find something in the books that may point to how you can get back" She said

"That's fine with me Melinda" Sirius said "But will you please tell who in Merlins name Harry Potter is?"

Remus looked at Melinda, she didn't look happy. What actually stood in those books?

"Harry is James' son" she explained

"James! your kidding me right? Who's the mother" Sirius shouted

"Lily of course"

Sirius and Remus stared at Melinda for a few minut, then Remus broke the silence.

"But how can that be? She hates him. You should hear her: "I don't wanna date you, even if you was the last boy on earth"" He said in a girly voice

Sirius laughed "Yeah come on. There's almost a bigger chance that she would date Snape"

"Will you guys shut up.. I'm telling the truth."

Remus and Sirius got quiet. "Okay Melinda.. Continue."

Melinda began to tell about how Voldemort had killed Lily and James. And that Harry now lived with Lilys sister and her husband. That when he turned 11 years Hagrid had found him and took him to Hogwarts. How he found the Sorceres Stone and defeeded Voldemort. How he fought the Bassilisk and and met Tom Riddle.

But then she stopped talking.

Remus picked up the third book. "Who is the Prisoner of Azkaban?"

Melinda looked into his eyes, and then turned her gaze to Sirius. "Sirius is"

"WHAT!"

RemusLupin-Tai-San: Yeah.. A cliffhanger! How will darling Sirius react when he finds out that Peter betrayed them, and that he spend 12 years in Azkaban. And what will Remus do when he finds out that he belived Sirius was Voldemorts spy and opposite.

Lawyer: Bunny Bunny Bunny...

RemusLupin-Tai-San: There's something siriously wrong with that dude..

Lawyer: Bunny Bunny Bunny... I think i'm gonna call him Snape.. yeah that's a good idea.

RemusLupin-Tai-San: You'll do that..... NB: Please keep in mind that I don't mind the name Herman... I tried to find a rare name.. and that's what I came up with... please don't sue me.. But your welcome to review..
