This is a song fiction where Kikyou is telling Inuyasha not to think of her any more since he chose Kagome over her. Kagome may be a little OOC (out of character) because she cheats on Inuyasha with Miroku. I don't own Inuyasha that is Rumiko Takahashi's and the song belongs to Dido.

Kikyou bitterly looked in on the scene before her with longing. Kagome had given up her life in the present and decided to stay with Inuyasha in the Feudal Era as long as he married, or mated in demon terms, with her. So Inuyasha did and he left Kikyou for her reincarnation. She fumed in jealousy and rage toward the hanyou and his lover. The dead priestess watched as the two sat in front of their house away from the village. :::They were happy now, but just wait...::: She thought. Kikyou knew that Miroku and Kagome had a thing going for quite a while now. ::: In just a matter of time Inuyasha will realize that and try to come running back to me.:::

"WHAT!!!" Kikyou heard her old lover exclaim loudly from her perch on the tree. ::: So, Inuyasha finally figured it out did he?::: she thought. She looked into the village below her. There was quite a scene. Inuyasha was beet red and had Miroku by the throat. "How DARE you!" he bellowed. Kagome was lying limp on the ground crying. :::She deserves it the little witch.::: Kikyou thought smirking.

Later she saw Inuyasha sitting by himself in front of the river. He felt her presence. "Kikyou!" he said achingly. She revealed herself to him and walked toward where he was moping. "I know Inuyasha, I knew she was doing that behind your back, but you still chose her. I told you choosing her would make you unhappy." She said. He looked devastated. "Kikyou, please I don't love her any more, not the way I love you!" He exclaimed. "Please, she and I, we are through." He pleaded. "You want to come back Inuyasha?" She whispered. He nodded looking relieved. "Well you are mated to her, you cannot chose another. You mated for life little Inuyasha. You cannot have me again. You missed your chance. And by the way, when you see her, don't think of me." She said, departing. Leaving him staring after her, anguish in his eyes.
