N.E.W.T's
Chapter 1: revision
Ron, Harry and Hermione walked down to the edge of the lake to do a couple of hours of non-stop revision for N.E.W.T 's, seeing as it was only 2 hours away and Lavender Brown had already had a panic attack! The settled themselves down on a grassy patch near the rock cliff and began to open their very thick books. Ron was buried deep in his book(tricky transfiguration level 7) and was scanning, very quickly, page 167(the top 10 transfigured toads) while Harry read; seeing is believing: divination. Hermione looked down on her neat notes and was muttering them under her breath, while every now and then closing her eyes and remembering and testing a fact.
"Hermione you are beginning to get on our nerves." Harry said through gritted teeth.
"sorry I just can't seem to get my facts right about that plant we studied a couple of weeks ago in herbology."
"which one is that?" asked Ron looking equally as puzzled as Hermione
"the karnim kaller, but I forgot what it does." replied Hermione
"oh is that the one which looks like a kinnda red toilet rush?" asked Harry
Hermione nodded, while rolling her eyes, and fumbled around for her herbology book, deep in her bulging bag.
"oh no, I forgot it, can I borrow yours?" she asked Ron
"sure" replied Ron while handing his own copy(plants proprieties by Daisy Chain)
After an hour of revision they heard the clock tower strike 12 o'clock with a loud bang.
"come on lets get lunch." Said Hermione snapping shut the a history of Chinese ancient runes.
"we can't! we've still got another hour of revision to do!" protested Ron.
"Ron you can't go into an exam with an empty stomach or you won't do as well and your nerves will shred you to bits!" answered Hermione
"Ron, Hermione's right lets go to lunch apparently its chicken, and I'm starving!" said Harry. So they packed up their stuff and trudged up to the castle, Hermione still muttering about the karnim kaller.
