Hello, dear reader and probably fanfictionist.

My name is Mazaki Anzu, otherwise known as Téa Gardner. No, my name is not 'Tea', capitalized or not. Tea is something you drink. I don't know what kind of tea you people buy, but if it rants about friendship that much, maybe you should switch brands.

Though, I have run across some fanfictions where the author seems to think that I rant about friendship. I don't. I've done it twice (and one of those times helped Yugi defete Kaiba. The time when I drew the friendship symbol on our hands), unlike Yugi – the other one who rants about 'the Heart of the Cards' every episode, or Kaiba Seto who does the same thing for power.

I'm not like Noa, who rants about getting revenge on his brother, or Jonouchi Katsuya (Joey Wheeler, if you will) who also tends to 'rant about friendship', more than I even.

I don't see anyone going on and on about how annoying Dark Yugi is for all of his speeches, or Kaiba for all of his, or Jonouchi for all of his.

I don't know why you decide to pick on me, or wait, maybe I do.

It's because I'm a female who hangs out with Yugi and all of the guys or 'hawt bishis' if you will. Their speeches don't matter, because they're 'OMG SO SEXEH!' and I hang out with them.

I get in the way of your little 'yaoi' pairings (do you even know what Yaoi means? It's just sex, PWP, what you people write is called 'shonen-ai'), despite the fact that half the time I have nothing to do with the pairing.

I realize that you think that the guys don't have any flaws because they are so good looking, but in reality, they have way more flaws than I do. Just because my love interest happens to be a guy that you probably have the hots for yourself (excuse me, what? It's not like you're ever going to meet him.), doesn't mean you should take it out on me.

Besides, what's so bad about friendship? If it weren't for friendship, Yugi wouldn't have won half the duels that he took on.

Oh yeah, that reminds me. I may have mentioned the character flaws for my friends (and Kaiba), but if you bash them for it, I'll kick your ass (well, maybe not if it's Kaiba, because he's a jerk). I'm not the little 'preppy bitch' that most of you seem to think I am. I'm far from it, in fact.

Just so you know, I as the author, do not condone Kaiba-bashing in the least. He is a good character, who has good traits along with the bad ones. Just 'cause Anzu doesn't like him, doesn't mean that I don't.
