After The Dust Has Settled
Now, after the dust has settled I can see it's gone…I'm not sure if I care, I mean Midgar was a pile of crap, the only happy memories I have there are with the Turks. Shinra's gone too thanks to AVALANCHE, the bunch of do-gooders, again I'm not sure I care, sure the life of a Turk was good but then again I never liked the president, or most of his employees. They all saw me as a common slum rat, worse than the stuff they wipe of their shoes, they all thought I was a no good womanising drunk, well they're probably right about that but I have my reasons.
Shinra destroyed my life before it began. So why join them you ask? Simple, I had nothing, no family, no friends, nothing, what did I have to loose by selling myself to the devil?
Nothing, I had begged for money before, I'd killed before, I'd sucked up as well (although that was so I could steal) so why not get paid to do all that. Of course I didn't know I was expected to do all that and more but then again working with the Turks gave me an identity, friends, heck they're like family to me…and nothings more painful then when family die.
I wonder what the AVALANCHERS are doing now? Chocobo head's probably going nuts again, Tifa's probably hanging around him like a love sick puppy, the guy with the gun arm's probably gone back to his daughter…I envy him. The others would have gone home, I'll have to pay a visit to Wutai, see if the ninja brat's interested in joining, she's probably the only one of them that isn't a do-gooding idiot, she's not bad looking either, just a bit too tomboyish for my liking, and annoying to boot.
After the dust has settled people will see that Shinra may be gone, but the Turks aren't, we're back and we're still working.
Notes: again I don't think im gonna get reviews and again I think this isnt very gd but id still apreciate some feedback, heck constructive flames would be better than nothing
