Surprise, surprise! I'm back. I guess I can't write one-shots too well,
can I? Since nobody reviewed except one person. (BTW, thanks!) Well,
this is multiple chapters. There, happy? Anyway, the boys have a new
baby sister, and guess who gets to watch her while their parents are
away? Not all three, Just Rocky and Colt. Two boys, one baby girl.
Hmmm, this should be interesting, shouldn't it?
At the hospital
"Look, boys." Mrs. Douglas said softly. "That's your new baby sister."
Rocky smiled and looked to Colt He smiled, also, and looked to the youngest of the three boys. Tum gave a half-smile.
"Have you and dad found a name for her yet, mom?" Rocky asked. Mrs. Douglas nodded.
"Skye."
"Rocky, Colt, Tum-Tum, and Skye. Hm, kinda rolls off the tongue, doesn't it?" Mr. Douglas said and laughed.
"Wow, I've never seen mom happier." Tum said.
"Well, tum, if you have a baby, you're probably gonna be a little excited. Unless the girl's like, just fifteen." Colt said.
Dad had given his "Always Use Protection" speech to Colt not too long ago. Rocky still didn't think he'd shaken it off of him yet. Rocky actually thought it was pretty funny. See, he'd seen the whole thing through the living room Blinds. He could remember it so clearly.
FLASHBACK
"You understand, Right, Jeffrey?" Dad said.
Colt nodded slightly, mouth hanging open, and eyes wide.
"Good. And, you also know, that if a girl says no, that's it. It's over, you stop. Right?"
"Yeah, of course." He said quietly.
Rocky suppressed a laugh. This was too good.
"Well, that's all I wanted. You can—you can go now."
Colt shakily stood up and walked into the living room. Rocky quickly turned back to the TV.
"Dear God, what just happened?" Colt said to no one in particular.
"That, my dear brother, was "The Talk" mixed with The "Always use Protection talk." Rocky said and snickered. "Don't worry, he gave it to me too. And look on the bright side; we get to laugh our brains out when he gives it to Tum-Tum."
End FLAHSBACK
Rocky laughed at the memory.
"What's so funny?" Tum asked.
"Nothing. Sorry. It's nothing."
A few hours later, the family was on their way home, a new occupant to their three sons. The boys expected all to go well. Apparently they didn't know what was in store for them one year later...
