Every time it rains
Remus flopped down on the red queen-sized bed after finally getting the children to sleep. Altogether, it had been a long hard day at the ministry, picking up the children from school and spending the rest of the day running after the 3 of them, but he still was in a good mood, this was what happened everyday. he looked out the window, dark clouds were forming and his heart sunk.
He got up and went to look out the window; he could see a storm coming in the next minute or so. Tears welled up in his eyes as the thunder clapped and the tears started to fall down his face...
This happened every time he saw a rainstorm; it brought up memories, bad memories, memories of Sirius. The worst one being when they had found his body, so peaceful in the middle of the thunderstorm, his wand gripped in his hand and his eyes narrowed in anger.
Sometimes late at night after the storm, Remus imagined he could still feel his strong arms around his body, taste his soft sweet kisses upon his lips, just like before he had gone off to help Harry fight Voldermort. He had promised to come back to him, that they would destroy him and that their children could grow up in a peaceful world without fear. But he had only been able to fulfil the last two promises. Neither had come back alive
As time passed, 4 years, Remus still loved him more and more each day, but he knew he couldn't be with him for a long time, he wouldn't be able to leave his children behind. But that didn't stop him wanting to look into his cool grey eyes and have him wipe away his lonely tears, to be able to tell him how much he loved him and how much she missed him.
When the sun was shining he was all right, happy as long as he didn't think about it, spending time with Molly, Arthur and their kids. But every time it rained, he broke down, no matter where it was, when it was, or who he was with.
'I love Sirius...' he whispered sadly.
'I love you too Remus...'
