Disclaimer: the book is not mine, nor are some of the words of my use, such as "messenger" the story line isn't mine, (Wolf's Rain owns it) .
As written in the book of the Red Moon,
...The Wolves are lead by the scent of the Moon's blossoms, in search of a True peace. Their search will prove hard if the allow their messengers to overtake them. If the Wolves allow evolution to banish them, slowly their search for paradise will become impossible. As the messengers grow, the Wolves diminish. Thus this will continue, until nothing is left but faded memories and fears of the ancient beasts.
....The maiden can only help them if they can avoid the messengers. Even with the guidance of the Being of the moon, their journey will still be cold. As the messengers create their own ways of life they will exclude and destroy all who they fear. As the messengers grow, so do their fears and the Wolves will become the greatest of such. As man cannot comprehend the soul of its Source, and nor can a single Wolf escape the onslaught of Man's Hate. Man's foolishness. As with all evolution there are still weaknesses.
....The maiden will give hope to the Wolves, however if they unguard themselves, they will perish. Time is short and will always be short, as the messengers' destiny is the illusion of power over all. As well the maiden's time is short, so the wolves should heed their guidance well. If persistence dwells within the souls of the Wolves, paradise will be found, if not, it will perish with them.....
