(The full moon hangs in the sky. A mist is slowly descending over the Hinata-sou, and the night's grown very chilly. Naru is the sole occupant of the dorm at the moment, and she's staring out her window)

"Kei-kun..."
(Naru has risen from her kneeling position on the floor, and now walks over to her bed. She flings herself down on it. She looks up at the ceiling, and an image of Keitaro's smiling face appears before her eyes. She smiles)

(Keitaro's face goes from lush colour to monochrome, then becomes fuzzy. Eventually it winks out entirely)
And then leave me alone

(Naru sighs, and buries her face in her pillow. We see a closeup profile of her face, pressed hard into the soft, comforting white square. Tears are slowly soaking it, and she's clenching the sheets in double fists)

(The door swings open, and Keitaro walks in. Naru's face appears before us, and she looks just about as surprised as someone ever was. She jumps to her feet and runs to greet him)
I don't want to wake up
On my own anymore
(She trips on her journey across the room, and nearly falls. Just as she's about to hit the floor, Keitaro grabs her and pulls her to her feet, a sweet, knowing smile on his face. She blushes, and giggles a little)
"What are you doing h—"
(Her speech is silenced by his finger on her lips)

(He's holding her, and they're lying on the bed. Keitaro's lips are moving in sync with the song as he rocks her back and forth, gently, tender)

"Kei-kun... I love you." "Naru-chan, ever have I loved you too."
(Keitaro interrupts his singing for a minute to say that, and plants soft kiss on her forehead as her eyes close. She begins to breathe deeply and regularly, and he tucks her in. Sitting down beside her bed, he begins to sing again)

(Keitaro gets up and walks out, closing the door behind him. He walks over to the stairs, and turns around for one last glance at the closed door. He grins, and walks down the stairs. Fade to black)
((So, what'd you guys think? I'll explain it a little here. This is right after Keitaro left for America on that trip with Seta in Volume 11(I think it was 11, anyway) of the Manga, which I only just recently read. SO much better than the Anime! :P Anyway, that's why she was so surprised. She'd expected him to be gone for six months, this was just what I think might have happened if he'd come home early. Review, please!))
