Sesshomaru flashed a small smile when he looked down at his palm. She was going to like it, he thought. He held a small velvet covered box which held a fourteen caret bracelet with the inscription "I will love you always" scribbled across it.
He looked across the hall to where Kagome was digging in her locker for her math book. Sesshomaru sucked in a quiet breath and strode over to where Kagome stood.
"Hello Kagome," he whispered into her ear.
Kagome fumbled with her math book and shivered deliciously. "Hello Sesshomaru."
"Do you need my assistance?" He asked innocently, grabbing her book from behind her and pulling her into his tight embrace.
"Maybe…" She replied in a daze. It was crazy how Sesshomaru made her feel whenever he was around her.
He nipped her earlobe and received a muffled giggle.
Could this be it? Kagome thought.
"I got you something," Sesshomaru said turning her around.
"Hmmm?"
Sesshomaru smiled watching her eyelids flutter open. "I got you a gift."
Guess not…
"Oh Sesshomaru you shouldn't have, really…I mean before our anniversary…and I didn't even…" She gasped. "It's beautiful!"
He beamed. "You like it."
"YES!" She cried wringing his neck with her arms. "I love it."
BRRIING!
Kagome's arms fell away from his broad shoulders to her sides. "The bell," she mumbled.
Sesshomaru could have killed someone.
His golden orbs narrowed in concern when he saw the flicker of disappointment that crossed her stunning features. "I am sorry."
Kagome's azure gaze met with his bullion stare and she smiled.
His heart stood still.
"It's not your fault."
He held her delicate hands in his claws and kissed them one then the other. "I love you."
"I love you, too."
He smiled and kissed her cheek. "I will see you after school."
"Uh huh," she replied blushing.
He couldn't help himself, she was just too damn cute. He swooped her up in his arms and held her crushing her body against his. "You have no idea how much I love you Kagome. No idea."
She laughed at this and nuzzled against his chest. "And you have no idea how much I love you."

"Kagome you're so lucky!" Exclaimed Eri enviously. "Why can't I have a boyfriend like Sesshomaru?"
Arimi giggled. "Because you're not as pretty as Kagome."
"Grr what'd you say Arimi?" Eri bit back.
"Hey you guys cut it out," Yuka interrupted.
"Yeah quit it," Kagome added, "Sesshomaru and I haven't even…really kissed."
"What do you mean? You've only been going out with him for what? Almost a year," Arimi said pointing out.
"WHAT!? He's never kissed you before?!" Eri yelled, a little slow on the update. "That's ridiculous!"
"Can it!" Yuka shouted. "That doesn't matter Kagome. As long as you love him…do you?"
"Of course!" Kagome shot back outraged. "Of course I do."
"Then there's no problem," she replied with a "humph."
"If you say so Yuka."
"Yeah I guess if she loves him then there's no problem."
