Pain

Courtney Centric Poem

I felt the pain
but I never saw the blood
it felt like someone stabbed me
in the heart but I couldn't find the blade

They took something of mine
and I couldn't find the clues
of where to find it, couldn't find
where they took it

It was so precious to me
but they didn't care
they still took it left me
there to bleed and feel the pain

Left me with the gash in my heart
still broken and lying in that water
while I looked and searched for it
but I never found it

Maybe this is why I am here now
maybe I am still looking for my heart
looking for the pieces that are missing
even though I know he is there

Waiting for me to come back into his
arms, to tell you I am ready
but that time still hasn't come
the pain of loosing something that was mine

Still hurts to much, I know it hurt him
too but how can he feel what I am going
through, the pain of my baby
being took away, being ripped from my body
