AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is a poem I have done while writing an Arwen and Aragorn story (Eternity) on here, and it could go along with it. It is from Arwen's point of view when Aragorn passes away and leaves her in Middle-earth. PLEASE REVIEW!! Very sad!!

Every morning I woke
To the sound of your breathing
To the sight of your face
Lying beside me on the pillow.
Every night I fell to sleep
To the touch of your hand
To the beating of your heart
There beside me on the bed.

Each and every day,
Each and every month,
Each and every year,
I danced to the song of your love
Singing my own in return,
I walked in step beside you
No matter where it was you went,
I ran and leaped into your arms
No matter where it was I leapt from,
I sang along with you
Even if you sang so darkly.

Together we wove such shining stars
That are not veiled in light in light of the sun.
Together we made such a tale
Of eternal existence forsaken
And a terrible path chosen
Only to see one another again.
The growing darkness we forsook;
The new light of another age we embraced.
Together we brought peace.

Many weep for a loved one they lose,
Yet, nay, I surely did not
For only the living can weep.
When you drew away from the world
I drew away with you
Leaving my body behind:
An empty mantle
Quenched of light and life.
My eyes dimmed at your departure,
Even the stars of our weaving
Never so bright, no longer.

No longer did I wake
To the sound of your breathing
To the sight of your face
Lying beside me on the pillow.
No longer did I fall to sleep
To the touch of your hand
To the beating of your heart
There beside me on the bed.
I only wait and hold to hope
Knowing that I will fall to sleep
And wake to find you there beside me.
