"He does look awfully like them."

Crowley set down his gin and tonic, peering at Aziraphale over the tops of his sunglasses. "Who looks like who?"

"He," and Aziraphale pointed at the white-robed man standing in the courtyard, "strongly resembles Mohammed and Jesus and Moses and such."

"The prophets?" Crowley's companion nodded. "Angel, that's completely preposterous."

"How so?"

"Look, I met most of them at least once, and I happen to know that one, they look nothing like each other and two, none of them resemble him in the slightest. I think you've had too much to drink, angel."

Aziraphale snorted derisively. "I've been drinking lemonade, dear." He looked out to the courtyard and fixed his clear blue eyes not on the politician or the general, who did not interest him, but on the man in his dusty white finery, his blond hair bleached white by desert sun. The man paused in his restless pacing, stared straight at Aziraphale and continued walking.

"It's not really a physical resemblance."

"How can they look alike then?" Crowley said in exasperation.

Aziraphale's eyes narrowed slightly, as though he was seeing something beyond the mere man.

"In their eyes you see one thing- pure, inspired, fearful devotion."

"I look just like him," Lawrence breathed, pulling at the skin beneath one eye, running a hand through his pale hair.

Ali glanced at the mirror in the other man's hand. "Like who?"

"Oh," and Lawrence set the glass down. "No one."
