The Riddle in Space
Buzz, Mira, XR, and Booster had just left commander Nebula's office. Their mission was over. It had been hard (there had been a lot of big explosions and dangers and noise and stuff that happens in space), but they had won Zurg. Zurg has left back on Planet Z where he went to plot new plots against Buzz.
"Curse you Buzz Lightyear" He had said when they had departed. "You won't getaway with this!"
Now Buzz & Mira & XR & Booster were really hungry after the big adventure. They took a ship and went to Café Cosmos that Buzz loved because it had always good food. They stepped in. It was a round big hall where red tables were on the floor and lamps were hanging from the ceiling. Behind a counter was Cosmo and he made burgers.
They all sat around a table that was high enough for Booster. It was red and big and had a flowerpot on it where a big blue hyacinth was blooming. It smelled good. A waitress came. She had a short blue dress and a white jacket over it, wavy blond hair, emerald green eyes, red pumps with high heels and a shirt that had a pink butterfly on with yellow stripes and green glitter on it. XR smiled at her, and she smiled back.
"What will you take?" she asked.
Buzz looked at the menu.
"I'll take a big chilli burger with extra large fries, a lot of mayonnaise on it, and don't forget the ketchup and mustard and pickles and it should also have a few pineapple ringlets in side it. And onion split, with pepper and oregano and some cayenne in it. Then I'll take a Sunday ice cream with vanilla sauce for dessert."
She gave the menu to Mira who looked at it for a while and then said,
"I'll take a vegetable burger with fish slices. It will be good with curry and some pepper and kiwi salad with lettuce. I'd like to drink a cappuccino with some chocolate chips in it and then a honeypie for dessert. Without honey."
XR took a can of oil.
Booster was not quite sure what to eat, but he was really hungry and took about half of the list, which included pepperoni sausages, a cream cake, tomato soup, bouillabaisse, Big Mac and a happy meal with star command toys. He hoped he would get a model of a star cruiser because he was missing one.
The waitress went and the food came soon. It was very delicious.
"Can I taste your fries?" Mira asked Buzz.
Buzz offered him fries with mayonnaise dip. "Sure Mira."
"Can I try your fish slices then? They look very delicious," he asked back.
"O.K... sure, here you go!" she said.
Buzz tried one and his expression became happy. He clicked his fingers and called the waitress.
"I'd like to have a bowl of these fish slices with curry!" he smiled at the waitress, "They were very good!"
"Oh those are Cosmo's specials! It's trout from alfa centaur."
Soon Buzz had his own bowl of them, and he ate them quickly. "Really good," he pointed out. "I'm going to eat these more often!"
Booster then got one too, and two more after that. He liked them a lot too. XR was kind of sad because he couldn't eat human food but had to drink oil.
"Maybe they'll make fish and curry tasting oil," Mira suggested.
On planet, Z Zurg was plotting evil plots. He watched the Team Lightyear from a monitor and didn't like that they were enjoying food. He became hungry too, and would have also liked a bowl of onion slices with curry fish. He was jealous at them.
