Chapter 5
For the next few days, Cam and the rest of the gang were busy either training, fighting evil, or vice versa. It was until Thursday night when Cam finally got time to call Jamie on when to meet up the next day. Taking the piece of paper he wrote her number on, he carefully dialed her number.
"Hello," the voice on the other line said.
"Hey Jamie, it's Cam," He replied. Jamie sat up in her bed. "Oh Cam! Hey what's up?"
"I'm really sorry for not calling you sooner. I was just really busy with work around the house," he lied, "you must think I'm a real jerk huh?"
"Of course not! I would never think of the sort! I totally understand." Cam smiled on the phone. "Hey listen I was wondering if the offer on Friday still stands."
"Yeah, I'm all for Friday, just tell me where and when?" She said.
"I'll pick you up at Storm Chargers by twelve, how is that?" Jamie smiled, "I cannot wait!"
"Great, I guess I'll see you tomorrow then." Cam said
"Sure thing...bye Cam," Jamie said.
"Bye Jamie," Cam said then hanging up the phone.
Friday
Cam got up just in time to get dressed and washed up to go pick up Jamie at Storm Chargers. Once he got there, he saw Jamie walking up the block. Once she got there, Cam hugged her.
"Hey!" She said.
"Hey...alright so...hey the whole day is whatever you want to do." Cam smiled
"Oh are you sure?"
"You got it!" For the day, Cam and Jamie went to the park and talked about they're daily lives, excluding the whole Power Ranger thing of course. They ended up walking on the beach.
"I thought I was the only one who was into computer and all the high technology. I didn't know you were into it as well!" Jamie said.
"I kind of got stuck to it. My dad really isn't that great with computers so I learned to save him the trouble and headaches," Cam said. Jamie just laughed. She happened to look down and noticed the object around his neck.
"I'm' really sorry to notice but that necklace of yours is fascinating. I've never seen anything like it." Cam looked down, all of a sudden getting a little nervous.
"Oh yea...it was passed down in my family for generation to generation."
"Yeah, the same with mine. It's not that fashionable, but it was passed down from my relatives also." Jamie said pulling out her necklace. It was a ball, just like Cam's but with a crescent in the middle and it was white gold.
"It's quite pretty...on you." Jamie smiled. "Thanks"
Meanwhile Lothor was pacing around his ship thinking about his next plot to destroy the Power Rangers. Zurgane stopped by to bring him some information.
"Sir," Zurgane called. Lothor angrily turned around. "Oh Zurgane! Can't you see I'm thinking here?!"
"Sorry sir, I have just been informed that the Green Samurai Ranger has been spotted on the beach." Lothor walked to the screen. "He's on a date so what?!" Kapri and Marah also looked at the screen, "Hey! Cousin doesn't have that bad of taste in choosing women." Kapri said.
"Wait!" Lothor called, "there is something suspicious about that girl he's with." Looking closer, Lothor finally found the thing that was so suspicious.
"I knew it was too good to be true," he mumbled, "Zurgane, send the Kelzacs, make sure you don't come back until you get the girl."
"Yes Sir," Zurgane said.
