Prologue (Day 1/Chapter 13)

--Ellis, Day 1--

Today's battle took a lot out of the crew. We are all quite confused and wondering just what is going on. We are taking the evening to rest, but tomorrow we march on to Laus. Mark directed today's battle. He turned out to be quite a good tactician. When I realized he had everything under control, I took an oppurtunity to go to a vendor and buy many journals for people to write their thoughts in. Later tonight I will distribute them, but now Marcus has news. A merchant fled the scene during our battle today, and scouts have seen him being persued by enemies. Mark has decided that we should protect him. Mark is always the kind one as such...
