Dawn of Freedom
Darkness passes,
A New Hope is kindled.
Those who died are honored,
And the living pray for the dead.
All are thankful of the humble lives they lead.
Darkness passes,
For the Dark Lord has been vanquished.
Alas, for the one who smote him.
For he too has passed into the world of peace.
But joy has conquered grief,
And happiness flowers anew.
Darkness passes,
No more deaths, no more dreads,
No longer fear of the Dark Lord.
A new dawn has come,
And peace echoes throughout the world of the living.
Filling earth with everlasting love,
As a lake would fill with water.
All is right and good.
Darkness passes,
Leaving room for an eternity of goodness,
Joy, soaring like an eagle over a snow topped mountain,
Bringing fruits of happiness to feed her young
After the cold long winter of hatred.
Bringing... Freedom!
