This just came to me one day so I wrote it down. Please tell me what is good and what is bad so I can improve it in the future.

Chapter 1

Years have past since the group's spirit detective adventures. And everyone has moved on, though they are still in touch and living in the same city. Kurama is living with Miya, a woman from his past, and their six-year-old son Keiji. Yusuke and Keiko are living together. Also, not to far back Hiei found out that he had a son; Taku who is now seven and they are living in an apartment above Kurama. And Kuwabara is living on is own somewhere still trying to win Yukina's heart.

(Kurama and Miya's apartment)

It is a little after one a.m. there fore Kurama and Miya are asleep in the living room and Keiji is asleep in his room. The phone rings, waking Miya up; she slowly crawls over to the phone then reaches for it. "Hello." "Miya?" Hiei asks. "Yes this is her. Hiei is that you?" "Yes" "Why are you calling so late?" "It's, Taku he's sick and I know it's late, yet he's my responsibility. It's not like I need either of your assistance but Taku asked for one of you to come up." Hiei responded. "Taku's sick, sure one of us will come up. But it's so late." Miya said yawning. 'I can't believe Taku ask for me or Kurama to come up, I guess he doesn't think Hiei can take care of him while he is sick.' thought Miya. "Well maybe I can believe it." She whispered to herself.

At that same time Kurama awoke, rolling over to face Miya, then tugging on her shirt. Kurama whispered, "Miya who is it?" "Shhh…just a minute." Was Miyas only response. Rolling back over and sticking his face in the pillow, "Ok."

A few seconds later they hear Keiji come into the room. Turning around, Miya sees Keiji holding his stomach, so she pokes Kurama in his side, so he will lift his head up. Keiji, "Mother I don't feel so good, ohh…" He quickly turns and runs into the bathroom, covering his mouth. "Yuck, that's gross." Keiji yells from the bathroom. "Well don't look at it." Kurama shouts back. "Kurama can you go help Keiji?" Miya asks, "Yes," getting up, and then leaning over Miya's shoulder, "First you have to tell me who is on the phone." "It's Hiei, now Kurama will you please go take care of your son, he's sick." Miya asked is a nice yet forceful why. "Hiei?" Kurama questions. "Go, please." Kissing Miya on the cheek then turning around, Kurama walks to the bathroom.

"Sorry about that, Keiji just got sick too, I wonder if it's because of the same thing." Miya questions. "Maybe," was Hieis only response. "Well, you know, they did go on that school trip yesterday, it could be from that." Miya wondered. "Maybe" was all he could say. "So are you coming over or not?" "Hiei, how about bring Taku down here?" Miya responded. "Ok, we will be right there, bye." "Bye" Yet he hung up before she could even say good bye.
