My response to the 100 word "Unbelievable" challenge. I was inspired by my two new kittens, which are very sick at the moment. One of them is a wild hellion and would rather die than swallow a little dropper if pink liquid.
Not In This Lifetime- "Hold this cat," Hermione ordered.
"What for?" Severus asked, looking very skeptical, and unwilling at the orange fluffy feline.
"I've got to give Crookshanks this medication... he's come down with a bacterial infection."
"Is that why its been blowing snot bubbles?"
"Yes, now help me. All you've got to do is hold him so I can get this dropper in his mouth."
Severus looked towards Hermione, who was trying to give Crookshanks the medication. The cat was hissing, spitting, twisting, and scratching all at once.
Severus' eyebrows raised. "Not in this lifetime."
"Crookshanks could die without this! You are unbelievable!"
By far not the most creative story inspired by this challenge; I've read some really good ones. I did enjoy giving it a shot though. Any prayers for my kitties are welcome.
