"Does anyone know where Ellie has been?" Marco asked. "She hasn't been at school in a week and there is no answer whenever I call her. I really starting t get worried aobut her."

"Dude, you are her best friend. If you don't know where she is, how would we know," Spinner responded to Marcos question.

"I've tried calling her, too, Marco, and I've had no luck," Ashely said entering the conversation. "I know her mom can be a pain about rules and stuff. Maybe her mom won't let her answer the phone."

(Switching dialoge style)

Marco: Something just doesn't seem right here.

Ashley: Do you think we should go by her house after school?

Marco: That sounds like a plan. Should we ask Sean to come along?

Ashley: That sounds like a plan.

After school Ashley, Marco and Sean were heading towards Ellies house. They first had to make a quick stop at Sean's so he could put his thiungs away. As they approched Sean's house, he grabbed the mail from the mailbox and the paper from the driveway and headed inside. A minute later, Sean was running back outside waving an envalope in his hands.

Sean: It's from Ellie and there is no return address, but there it is postmarked two days ago from Whittington (AN: I made up that town).

Marco: Isn't that like 50 miles or so away?

Ashley: What is she doing there?

Sean: Let's read the letter.
