Once lived a cat, with a thousand lives.
Who never lives, but never dies.
And keeps on breathing, although he tries.
To give up air, and cut all ties.
He lived with many, but was owned by none.
His soul forever, eternal like the sun.
His master died, his service done.
But he would come back, and live anon.
But one time, the cat, was born alone.
And lived in alleys, with a darker tone.
Until with love, the seed was sown.
And he found a mate, for his own.
They lived together, the happy two.
Until the sky, was darker blue.
And his lover died, under the moon.
And forever stopped, all too soon.
He mourned his loss a thousand tears
And with his mourning the morning nears.
He died again, just like before,
But now he stayed, living no more.
