Disclaimer: I do not own the Newsies. They are owned by Disney. cries I wished I owned the Newsies, hehe. I own Chloe-Lynn, Rachael, Randi, Mr. Spadelli, and Lexington Ann.
A big thanks to: sphinxx, Trigger, Mush'sgrl13, and Nani at 12 0'clock (by the way Nani, Lexington Ann wasn't born in Lexington ave. I actually have no idea where she was born, but if you want her to be born there, then she is, hehe)
"Whoa, Lexie, what are you wearing!" Chloe-Lynn asked. Mush thought he was dressed rather nice today. He was wearing jean pants, sandals, a hot pink shirt, a choker necklace and a pink headband. "The pink, so 80's."
"What's wrong with it?" Mush said sitting down next to Chloe-Lynn in the cafeteria. It was lunch and Mush was starving.
"Well like I said, that pink, so 80's, it looks like you just popped out of the movie The Breakfast Club." Chloe-Lynn said opening her water bottle.
"Is that a double lunch?" Rachael asked.
"Um yeah, why?" Mush said eating one of his chicken nuggets.
"Oh well, don't you remember the pact?" Rachael said looking at the other girls.
"The pact?"
"Yeah, you don't eat lunch and if you do, you definitely don't eat a double lunch. Besides Lexington, you look like your getting kind of chunky. How much do you weigh?" Randi asked.
"I don't know, are you calling me fat?" Mush asked.
"No, but just remember you have to be less than 110 pounds." Randi said sipping her Diet Coke.
"What? That's crazy. I'm not gonna starve myself just so I can be under 110 pounds, and if I want to eat a double lunch, I'll eat a double lunch." Mush said standing up to the girls. They all just looked at him.
"Whatever." They all said at once.
"Well if it isn't the whores." Jake said walking by with a double lunch as well.
"Why don't you keep moving fat boy before you get something you'll regret." Chloe-Lynn said snapping back.
"You can't do it with me right here Chloe, people are watching." Jake said laughing.
"Get moving." Snitch said coming up behind Jake and pushing him away from the table. Lexie was right behind Snitch.
"Hey Mush. You're looking pretty cute today." Rachael said.
"Oh hey Rachael." Lexie said smiling.
"Lay any girls lately Mush?" Chloe-Lynn said sarcastically.
"Um, no." She said.
"Where's your lunch?" Randi asked Lexie.
"I wasn't hungry today." She looked over at Mush who was stuffing his face with a double lunch. "Is that a double lunch?"
"Would you ALL leave me alone and let me EAT my double lunch!" Mush yelled.
"Sorry Lexie, I'll see ya later." Lexie said to Mush walking away.
"That boy is such a scum bag. Can you believe him?" Chloe-Lynn said.
"What are you talking about?" Mush said getting upset.
"Do you see the way he treats girls? He's a mess. He'll never amount to anything. He's never gonna marry because he'll never be faithful to any girl." Chloe-Lynn said taking another sip of her water. Mush knocked the water out of Chloe-Lynn's hand, sending it across the cafeteria.
"What did you just say? He treats you guys the same way you treat him. If you give a little respect, he'll respect you. Mush will amount to something, it's you girls that are gonna be living out on the streets because you have your head to far up your butt to see that Mush has a heart and has feelings. It's not easy living his life; maybe you should try living his life. No wait don't, because you wouldn't survive. So next time before you want to put down Mush, make sure you get your facts straight, otherwise shut up." Mush picked up his double lunch and left the cafeteria.
"What the hell is rice pilaf?" Jake asked picking through his rice.
"Did you know that these chicken strips bounce. See what this." Snitch said dropping one of his chicken strips and watching it bounce.
"Dude that is so gross." Itey said drinking his Sprite. Suddenly he burped really loud.
"Nice one." Jake said. Lexie just looked at them disgusted.
"You guys just keep getting cooler and cooler." She said sarcastically.
"Mr. Caspary would you mind picking up that chicken strip?" Mr. Rick said approaching Snitch.
"Did you see it bounce sir? Wasn't that so cool?" Snitch asked.
"No. You're getting a write up for playing with your food." Mr. Rick said.
"What? That's not fair! Didn't you see Lexie slap Chloe-Lynn's water bottle out of her hand? Did you write her up?" Snitch asked.
"I gave her a warning."
"You didn't write her up? That's so discrimination." Snitch said.
"Would you like to discuss the meaning of discrimination in detention?" Mr. Rick asked.
"No." Snitch said pouting.
"Okay then." Mr. Rick said walking away.
"This is so unfair. I've had it with the girls getting away with everything. Well that's about to change." Snitch said getting up and walking away.
"Good morning class. Please open your books to page 212." Mrs. Miller said. The group was now in biology class. Randi got up and was headed towards the pencil sharpener.
"Oh no, what are you doing?" Snitch stopped her.
"I'm going to sharpen my pencil, what's it look like." She went to move forward but he wouldn't let her through.
"Nope, I'm sorry, you can't pass this line."
"And why not?"
"Segregation! You see that side is the girl's side, and this here, well it's the men's side. It appears that the pencil sharpener is on the men's side. I'm sorry Randi, you're gonna have to sharpen your pencil somewhere else." Snitch said smiling.
"Mr. Caspary, would you like to explain to me what exactly is going on?" Mrs. Miller asked.
"Well see Mrs. Miller, us guys are fighting for segregation."
"We are?" Racetrack asked.
"Yeah, didn't Jake and Itey tell you?" Snitch asked.
"No." Racetrack answered.
"Oh well we are fighting for segregation because everyone always discriminates against guys. Like at lunch, I got a write up for dropping a chicken strip, but Lexie walked away with just a warning for slapping Chloe- Lynn's water bottle out of her hand." Snitch said.
"Oh okay, well then Mrs. Miller, we are fighting for segregation." Racetrack said. He turned around to look at Kid Blink.
"What?" Kid Blink shrugged his shoulders and whispered.
"I don't know." Racetrack mouthed.
"All right Mr. Caspary, I'll give you your segregation. Girls don't cross this line here, and guys don't cross this line here. Now back to the lesson, we are starting our new chapter which involves cells." Snitch's arm shot up in the air. "Yes Mr. Caspary."
"May I use the MEN'S room please?" He asked.
"No you may not."
"Why?"
"Because it appears that the only way out of the room is that door right there, but oh no, it's on the girls side, and you can't cross over that line, so you'll just have to wait." Mrs. Miller said smirking.
"Then I'll just pee right here." Snitch said getting up.
"And then you can pee at home because I'll expel you." Snitch grinned at Mrs. Miller and sat back down in his seat. Snitch continued his day that way, fighting for segregation. It seemed like he was fighting a one man battle because all the rest of the guys completely forgot about it. Lexie was headed home when she heard Mush behind her.
"Lexie!" Mush yelled.
"Oh hey Mush, what's up."
"I was just wondering if you would like to get together and maybe study for the American History test tomorrow."
"Oh that's right. Tomorrow's Friday! Yeah sure, you can come over to my house; I mean you're house, well the house I'm currently at." Lexie said smiling.
"Cool, I'll be there."
"6 o'clock sharp, not a minute later." Lexie turned and continued her way home.
