Koiinu- Yeah, I guess I did go a little fast. Sesshomaru joined Inuyasha's gang because Rin made him. And yeah, she's older now, because you're right, it would be a little weird if Rin and Sesshomaru were together and Rin was still little. And about Kagome's wish, that will be explained in this chapter! Hope that helps!

Chapter Two
'Don't Leave Me Inuyasha!'
Kagome woke in her own bed. She couldn't remember how she got here. Then it all came back, the battle against Naraku, the wish she made. She could remember it clearly in her mind now. When the jewel was complete, something really weird happened…
***FLASHBACK***
Kagome's eyes closed for only a second, and when she opened them, she was someone where completely new. Kagome stared at the place in wonder. It was all green with rivers and forests. The young miko looked to the sky and watched the birds. She felt a presence behind her, and turned around.
"Who are you?" Kagome asked.
"I am Midoriko," she said, "I created the Shikon no Tama."
"Then, why am I here?" Kagome questioned Midoriko.
"If you want to defeat Naraku, you have to let me take you over, just until he is dead," Midoriko replied.
"But, why?"
"You are not yet strong enough. You know your powers are there, but you don't know how to use them," Midoriko said.
"Oh," Kagome said, "When will I know how to use them?"
"In time my dear child, in time," Midoriko said, "But first, you get two wishes."
Kagome looked to the sky in thought. After a minute or two, Kagome turned her gaze back to the miko. "I wish that me and my friends were transported to my world so we can all heal, then I wish that the well will be open for only me and my friends to use."
"Very well," Midoriko said
***END FLASHBACK***
Did they win? Kagome got out of bed and put on a blue sundress and walked downstairs. Sango and Miroku were sitting on the couch. Miroku's arms around Sango's waist, Sango leaning into Miroku's chest. Shippo was playing video games with Sota and Rin was watching TV. Kagome sat down on the arm of the couch. Sango and Miroku were talking, before she came down.
"Where's Inuyasha and Sesshomaru?" Kagome asked.
"In the Kitchen," Sango said softly.
Kagome eyed the demon exterminator suspiciously and walked into the kitchen. Inuyasha was sleeping on a mattress near one of the walls and Kagome's mom was sitting on the ground next to him. Kagome walked around the table. She gasped when she saw Inuyasha, her hand flying to her mouth. Inuyasha was pale, very pale. He had cuts on his face and a bandage around his chest, his veins had a bluish tint to them, thanks to Naraku's insects.
"W-what happened?" Kagome asked softly.
"From what Sesshomaru said, Naraku's hand went through his chest and then he was attacked by Naraku's insects," Mrs. Higurashi said slowly.
"We need to get him to a doctor then!" Kagome cried, forgetting for a moment that it would look weird if they brought someone in with dog-ears.
"Sesshomaru just went to get Kaede," Mrs. Higurashi said.
Kagome sat down on the mattress and laid Inuyasha's head in her lap. Kagome stroked his silver hair softly and kept her tears from falling. She didn't succeed and a tear fell onto Inuyasha's face. Inuyasha's eyes opened slowly and he gazed into Kagome's eyes.
"Ka-Kagome," Inuyasha whispered, "Don't cry."
"Inuyasha, you need to rest," Kagome said softly.
"Kagome," Inuyasha whispered again, his face contorted with pain.
"Please Inuyasha, just rest," Kagome pleaded.
"Kagome, I-I need t-to tell you," Inuyasha ground out.
"Wait until you're better," Kagome said.
"Feh," Inuyasha muttered and closed his eyes.
"Don't leave me Inuyasha," Kagome whispered.
Mrs. Higurashi watched Inuyasha and Kagome and could tell almost instantly that they were in love. Sesshomaru walked into the kitchen with Kaede at that moment. Kaede had a bag filled with herbs and she was talking with Sesshomaru.
"How bad is he?" Kaede asked.
"Naraku's arm went through his chest, we stopped the bleeding and bandaged the wound, but he has Naraku's incest's poison running through his blood stream," Sesshomaru replied.
"The poison will slow down his healing," Kaede said.
Kaede sat down next to Inuyasha and pulled out her supplies. She carefully took the bandage off and applied some herbs onto the wound. Inuyasha cried out in pain softly. Kagome took his hand in hers and gave it a gentle squeeze, to let him know she was there with him. Kaede re-bandaged his wound and had him drink something to slow the poison and kill it in time.
"He can't stay down here," Kaede said.
"I want Inuyasha to stay in my room, so I can watch over him," Kagome said.
Sesshomaru nodded and gently lifted Inuyasha off the ground. Kagome walked behind Sesshomaru, her face emotion-less. She walked into the bathroom and took a cloth and ran it under some cold water. She walked back into her room and sat down on the bed, placing the Hanyou's head in her lap. She placed the cloth on his forehead. She thanked Sesshomaru and watched him walk out.
"She loves him," Sango said.
"Aye, she does," Kaede agreed.
Upstairs Kagome was watching Inuyasha sleep. Tonight there would be no moon and Inuyasha would have to endure turning into a human while in this condition. Kagome knew that it was painful for him. She would be at his side, helping him through the transformation. She only hoped that he would be able to survive with his wounds. Sometimes, that's what scared her. That Inuyasha would get extremely bad wounds then have to transform into a human that same night, that he couldn't survive in his human form with those kind of wounds, and he would die, but Kagome knew Inuyasha was stronger then that.
"Ka..gome.." Inuyasha whispered, "…don't…leave…me…"
"I won't leave you Inuyasha," Kagome said, taking his hand in hers.
Inuyasha was in terrible pain, Kagome could feel it. He didn't have that peaceful look on his face like he usually did when he slept. His face was now contorted with pain, worry and anger. Kagome knew that she'd been in love with Inuyasha since the day they met. Yet, the way he acted towards Kikyo made it look like he barely cared for Kagome. Inuyasha opened his eyes slowly and found Kagome staring at the wall, deep in thought. He lifted his arm slowly and touched Kagome's face. Kagome gasped softly and turned to look at him.
"You need to be resting," Kagome said.
"The medicine Kaede gave me is starting to work," Inuyasha said, smiling painfully.
"But you're still hurt," Kagome pointed out.
"I know," Inuyasha whispered, "But I wanted you to know something."
"It can wait Inuyasha. Just rest, please, for me," Kagome whispered fearfully.
"Fine," Inuyasha muttered and closed his eyes again.
Kagome smiled and she thought of a song that might calm the hanyou. Kagome started to rub Inuyasha's ears and was surprised when he didn't yell at her, but a low growl emitted from his throat and turned into a soft purr. Kagome giggled and started to sing softly.

Kagome's voice slowly faded and the room became silent once more. Inuyasha's face was peaceful, and no longer in pain. He shouldn't be in pain, Inuyasha didn't deserve pain. Kagome smiled, her singing helped Inuyasha forget about his pain, well, for the time being.
"Your voice is beautiful," Inuyasha whispered, eyes still closed, "Like you."
"Thanks," Kagome said softly.
'Did he just say I was beautiful?' Kagome asked herself, 'Maybe it was just me, or maybe he thought I was Kikyo, but he couldn't possibly think…I'm beautiful...'
