I've invented some jutsus for Naruto. It makes sense, trust me and that thing about him having more control over Kyuubi is just something he would want to do right? I mean come on! Besides, we all love Naruto and want him to be the best ne?

I've finished all my coursework and gave it on Wednesday, so that's why I was able to type this chapter out! Enjoy!

WHY NOT 22

Naruto and Kakashi leapt to their feet. The warning alarm was ringing throughout the entire village and soon several chuunins, jounins and even ANBU members were making their way to the West gates. The two followed suit and found smoke rising from every direction and families and children running out of their homes. Naruto had a sinking feeling about the whole situation. Something about the whole picture seemed very familiar. From the smoke, a head of a white King-Dragon rose, its green eyes flashed menacingly, staring at all the running civilians and the gathering ninjas. Suddenly, several Grass-nins leapt up from behind the King-dragon.

"Damn! It's them!" Naruto cursed and pulled out his kunai. Behind him, Kakashi was dropping into a fighting stance as well. Sasuke, Neji, Shikamaru, Shino and Kiba appeared behind him, poised in fighting positions. "I thought they were finished. Raiko said they were all dead!"

"Raiko?" Kakashi turned to look at Naruto. "Wait a minute. That was that two-month mission you left for?" Naruto nodded.

"It's the same bunch. Something happened between the feudal lords of the grass village and ours. Our feudal lord was nearly assassinated by their nins months ago and he ordered nins from our village to be dispatched to kill those that tried to take his life and we did."

Ninja's leapt forward and soon it was a chaos of jutsu's clashing with one and other. "Watch the civilians!"

Their little group separated and took part in battle. Naruto slashed at the group of grass-nins attempting to pile on him in a blink of an eye, sending their bodies to the ground with a loud sickening crunch. A particular scream of a lady caught his attention and he turned to find a woman among the civilians gathering at one part of the village panicking and screaming her lungs out, while others held her back. Naruto looked at the direction she wanted to go and found a little boy running towards her, crying and screaming in fear. The king-dragon finally moved, aiming to strike for the child with its long claws. Naruto cursed. There was not enough time to intercept the oncoming attack. Naruto left his post and Sasuke came to back him up.

"Keep them back!" Naruto yelled.

"Where are you going?" Sasuke yelled back, and watched as Naruto headed for ground level.

Sasuke's eyes widened. Kakashi slashed the remaining nins around him and turned to follow Sasuke's gaze. Shikamaru disengaged his shadow imitation technique, while Kiba landed on his feet from the beast mimicry. It seemed to happen so slowly. The young boy tripped and broke his leg. The loud roar of the dragon echoed as its paw descended upon the child. Naruto covered the child with his own body and all four fangs pierced through his body.

Kakashi's eyes widened and his Sharingan flared. "NOOOOOOO!"

Naruto gagged blood out, little drops spilling on the child's shocked face. The dragon pulled his claws out and Naruto quickly picked the child up in his arms. The dragon did not strike again and instead swung its forked tail towards the surrounding buildings. Naruto rushed towards the civilians, the debris falling directly over their heads. There was nowhere to run. He handed the child to his mother who hugged him tightly before staring up to their upcoming doom.

"Damn! Damn! Damn!" Naruto cursed and formed several strange looking seals. "Nine pillars!"

Blinding red chakra raced out from under him and stopped at nine different locations outside the circle of civilians. Nine pillars made of hot red chakra rose up and then a shield was formed. The debris fell on them and rolled off, the shinobis surrounding the area leaping out of range of the falling concrete and the occasional metal. The civilians were awed and soon, all eyes fell on Naruto, who was wincing visibly, blood dripping from his body and pooling around his feet. All the other shinobis were awed by the technique, never guessing that a 'dobe' could do something like that.

"What the hell are you waiting for?" He yelled, coughing. For a moment the shield wavered. He formed several new seals and stared angrily at the dragon. "Nine tails!" Nine streams of chakra darted forward from under Naruto's feet and held the dragon in place. The dragon roared loudly in protest. "Seal him!" Naruto yelled as loud as he could and winced visibly as cuts begin to appear on his body.

The ANBU did not waste any more precious seconds. They knew the price Naruto was paying to use the jutsus that were both protecting the civilians and holding the dragon down. Twelve ANBU members formed the same seals at the same time and a blinding light surrounded the dragon. It gave out a loud roar and then it was gone. Dust began to settle and the Nine-tails and Nine-pillars vanished.

Naruto collapsed on his knees before the villagers, who were staring at him with wide eyes. There were no emotions in those stares – they were just blank from too much shock. Naruto coughed out blood. Shinobis began to gather behind him. His old friends were about to step forward and help him but Naruto held a hand up making them stop. His eyes were on the little boy who was on the ground, his mother behind him with her arms wrapped tightly around him. The boy had tears in his eyes from the pain of his twisted and broken leg. Naruto painfully stood up, ignoring what he was feeling. Some of the young females among the civilians forgot that he was the Kyuubi and tears trickled down their cheeks. Naruto made his way slowly towards the boy and knelt before him.

"Does it hurt?" He asked gently, a smile on his face. The boy nodded. Naruto smiled at him and placed his bloodied hand on the boy's injured leg. "Work with me, okay?" The boy blinked, not understanding. Red chakra began to surround the boy, and Naruto gave out a sharp gasp of pain as he felt his own leg began to throb with hot searing pain. The boy's little grazes and cuts disappeared from his body and they appeared on Naruto's. The red glow vanished and the boy stared at his leg. He wiggled his toes and smiled.

"Thank you!" The boy said and hugged his knee close to him.

Naruto, despite all the pain he was feeling looked at the boy's mother. "You have a wonderful child. He is lucky to have someone like you." The mother suddenly wept hard, hugging the boy close to her.

Naruto stood up shakily and then his whole world began to spin rapidly. His eyes closed and then Kakashi was beside him.

"This! This is the person who saved you!" Kakashi angrily yelled at the village people. "The person whom you all hated!" Tears were suddenly pushing their way behind his eyes. "The person whom you all treated like a demon! He just saved all of you!"

Without another word, Kakashi picked up Naruto's bloody body and rushed for the hospital where Tsunade was already waiting.

Kakashi had his face buried in his hands. It had been four hours already and Naruto was still in the emergency room with Tsunade and other doctors. Kakashi was worried about him and at the same time confused. The techniques Naruto used were new and it amazed him. He used the chakra of the Kyuubi to form a shield and at the same time manage an assault. He suddenly felt as if he did not know Naruto at all. And what shocked him the most was that his Sharingan couldn't see through the jutsu. He also overheard Neji telling Lee who worked as a teacher that Naruto was special and that he could no longer see his chakra channels.

So Naruto found a way to protect his techniques from both the Sharingan and the Byakugan, Kakashi thought and felt himself smile sadly. What a great lad.

The emergency room doors swung open and Tsunade came out, looking tired and pulling off bloodied rubber gloves along with the hair cap. The little party waiting for news about Naruto gathered and the first ones were Kakashi and of course Iruka, who had resorted to pacing madly up and down the hospital corridors.

Tsunade looked troubled. "I treated his wounds as best I could. It's up to him now." She looked sad.

"Up to him?" Iruka asked, and swallowed. "What do you mean up to him, Hokage-sama?"

"He's in a coma, Iruka-sensei."

Ummm, another coma … hehehe … actually, Ravenshaelo-chan said in her notes "WHAT? ANOTHER COMA?" Well, I just had to. I wanted to explore the other characters and give them some importance know what I mean. I had to keep Naruto-chan out of the picture for a while. Tune in text time! Ja!
