A/N: I ummed and aahed over the title of this one. "Forrestation" was the alternative, but I decided I liked this better. Obviously, this is a rewrite of "Chuck Versus the Broken Heart" and is 100% Charah.

Deforrestation

Sarah felt close to tears. She knew what was coming as she stood next to Agent Forrest waiting for the screen to come on. She didn't know what she could have done differently to get a better result.

General Beckman appeared on the screen. "Report," she said.

Forrest looked straight ahead. "Based on my observations, Agent Walker is far too emotionally entwined with the asset. Her decisions weren't made with respect to established protocol. She always places the subject's feelings above orders."

Her worst nightmare was coming true, but Sarah stood straight trying not to show any emotions.

"Is that your final assessment, Agent Forrest?" Beckman asked.

"It is," replied the taller woman standing next to Sarah.

Beckman drew her attention. "Agent Walker. Thank you for your dedication to this mission."

Sarah tried to speak. "General, please, I..."

The general ignored her. "But as of right now, your services are officially terminated. Report back to Langley at 0900." Then, she ended the call.

Sarah could feel the tears forming, but she held them back. Turning to the other women next to her, she said, "Please take good care of him."

Forrest was formal and dismissive, "I'll do my job, if that's what you mean."

Sarah sighed. "Well, I'll be on my way as soon as I say good-bye to him."

Forrest halted her. "I don't think so. You've already done enough damage here. Chuck's my mission now. No further contact. That's an order."

Sarah stood for a moment, stunned.

When she had managed to move again, Sarah collected her things from Castle. There wasn't much, but all of it held memories.

She had sat for a while just feeling like crying but managed to contain it. This place had been a fixture in her life for the last few months. A place she had only expected to leave when Chuck got the Intersect out of his head and was safe. She would miss that now. She'd miss the happiness that brought him. Mind you, the only person likely to achieve that was still missing. Maybe the only thing she could do for her ex-cover boyfriend was to find his dad for him.

She grabbed her things and headed toward the terminal in the main room.

As she walked around the corner, she bumped into Forrest who was heading out. "You're still here, Walker. I thought I made myself clear."

Sarah replied, "I'm just tying up some loose ends."

Forrest turned. "Make it quick," she threw over her shoulder as she headed up the stairs.

Sarah waited for a moment, then went to a terminal, gained access and initiated a search on the CIA resource division site, looking for Stephen J. Bartowski. Then, she hurried out. She would get the results on her way across the country.

She headed out of Castle, probably for the last time.

Sarah sat on the bed in the room that had been her home for the last eighteen months. She had everything packed. She looked around the room. She was going to miss this place. Even the green wall.

Of course, it wasn't the place, but the man that had brought her to be there. She had lain on the bed and sobbed for thirty minutes after returning here. She was forbidden to see the man who, she had to admit to herself, meant more to her than anything. He had captured her heart so long ago and she'd only kept that hidden to avoid the very thing that had now happened.

After bawling her head off for half an hour, she had gotten her act together and packed. Now, it was all done.

She sighed. Dragging this out achieved nothing. She was forbidden to say goodbye to him, so staying here was just prolonging the agony. She got up and grabbed her things and was about to pull her suitcase out of the room, when her phone rang. She looked, but saw it was the person she had been thinking about, Chuck.

She knew if she answered, she would soon be crying again. She'd probably admit her feelings for him and that would only make things worse for him. And for her, too.

She declined the call and continued out of the room.

Once she had everything packed in the car, she put her cell phone in its cradle on the dash. Then, she headed out. She knew she would never be able to come to Los Angeles again. It would be too painful.

Sarah hadn't even left California, when her cell phone beeped. The search was complete.

Sarah leaned over and pressed the button marked, "SHOW RESULTS" and was surprised to find where Chuck's dad was located.

She immediately headed off the freeway. She was going to get this information to Chuck before she left him completely.

When Sarah got to Echo Park, she sat and wrote him a letter, telling him what she had found. She couldn't help adding at the bottom that she wished things had been different and she would miss him terribly. She had no hesitation putting the two kisses under her signature. She managed to move the paper just before the tear drop landed.

When she left the car, she wondered about leaving the letter in the mail box for Chuck, Ellie and Devon, but thought of a better plan.

She climbed through the Morgan door and walked over to the bed and threw the letter onto Chuck's pillow.

She looked longingly at that pillow for a moment, thinking, 'If only…'

As she turned to leave, she noticed Chuck's phone lying on the bed. She panicked. He never went anywhere without it.

She grabbed the letter and the phone and rushed back to her car.

When she got to the Orange Orange, she ran through to the freezer and tried to open the door to Castle, but got "ACCESS DENIED." Forrest had obviously already had that revoked.

So, she went to one of the cameras and called, "Casey. I can't get in. I don't have access."

She didn't know whether she was being listened to, but continued, "Look, I think Chuck's in trouble. He never goes anywhere without his phone."

The door release opened, so she headed in.

As she walked down the stairs, she waved the phone. "I found this when I went to say good-bye to Chuck."

Forrest glared at her. "Which directly disobeyed an order. You were fired for exactly this reason."

Sarah glared at her. "Then there's nothing stopping me from kicking your ass. Besides, I don't work for you, so you can't give me orders anymore!" She pushed past the woman and went to a terminal and skipped through the surveillance feeds.

Forrest scornfully stated, "Chuck's in the courtyard. He's fine."

Sarah found the signal from Chuck's watch was indeed coming from the courtyard. She found the camera aimed at the courtyard and zoomed in to the location the signal was coming from. There was Chuck's watch in the water of the fountain.

Casey muttered, "We lost the surveillance signal from Ahmad's heart. Got to be a connection between the signal's disappearance and Chuck's."

Sarah frowned, "I don't understand. Isn't the GLG4000 specifically designed to track deep inside the Afghani caves?"

"Yeah," Casey muttered.

Forrest stated numbly, "You'd need at least six feet of solid steel to block that signal."

Sarah hunted through the recordings of the signals, and pulled up a map with the red dot flashing. "This is the last location his heart registered before going off-grid."

Casey said, "Overlay the satellite image."

Sarah did that and zoomed in. The building's owner was displayed, "Dubai Federal Bank & Trust."

"They're in a bank vault," Casey muttered.

"Yeah, that would do it," Sarah commented.

"Great work, Walker," Casey said as he started to grab things to head out.

Sarah appreciated the comment, but was still worried. She just hoped that was where Chuck was and that he was safe.

As the three agents ran down the stairs in the bank, heading toward the vault, they had to shoot the men trying to stop them. They reached the floor just as the vault door was closing. Sarah caught a glimpse of Chuck in a white coat, just before the door closed. She called to him, but didn't know if he heard her.

Forrest tried to open the vault, unsuccessfully.

"Now Chuck is locked inside with one of Interpol's most wanted," Sarah snarled. She glared at Forrest. "It is your job to protect him, damn it."

Forrest turned to her. "I've got nitroglycerin and a blasting cap in the van. I'll have this door off in no time."

She pushed past Sarah, but Casey stopped her. "Hold on, I think I saw a nitrous setup in there," he said.

Even angrier, Sarah snapped at the other woman, "You're gonna blast the door open, and you're gonna kill Chuck in the process!"

As Sarah kneeled down to try to crack the safe open, Forrest leaned down and said, "What makes you think he's not already dead?" She clearly didn't care one bit.

Sarah started listening to get the turns right. After a while she heard something completely unexpected. "That's odd. I think I hear Chuck laughing." She reached out. "Here, give me the walkie."

However, Forrest snatched it first. "I'll handle it."

Sarah turned back to continue her attempt to open the door. As she did, Forrest put the walkie on speaker and they heard Chuck tell them he was being gassed with nitrous. His next comment warmed her heart, "But I'm not coming out until you find Sarah and you bring her back here." She just wanted to kiss him for saying that.

Then they heard the man with him mention the terrorist, Hassan Khalid. Chuck asked where he was, and the man said, "He's in the Eastern Karakoram caves."

This was what they needed to know for the mission.

Casey grabbed the walkie. "Hey, Chuck, turn off the gas, idiot. You inhale too much of that stuff, it'll kill you."

Hearing that was too much for Forrest. "This isn't working. I can't risk this going any further. I'm getting the nitro." She started to walk off.

Sarah stopped her, however, with her next words, "Forrest, we can do this your way, or we can actually save the asset." She opened the door.

She was the first in and got to Chuck, saying "Chuck. Here," and holding out her hand to him. She pulled him to his feet.

Chuck looked at her doubtfully. "Sarah! Is it really you, or am I super stoned?"

She grinned, "Uh, both."

He grinned back and they both just stared at each other for a few moments.

Sarah felt like wrapping her arms around him and kissing him, but she could feel Forrest's eyes boring into her back. Instead, she helped him out of the vault so they could all leave.

The four of them were standing in Castle facing the screen with General Beckman staring at them. Sarah was standing casually, as she no longer worked for the woman and frankly no longer cared.

Beckman started talking, "Both Rashad Ahmad and Dr. Zamir are in custody. Though the mission didn't go according to plan, Chuck was able to ascertain the hidden location of terrorist, Hassan Khalid." She looked at the taller female agent. "Thank you, Agent Forrest."

Forrest replied, "Just doing my job, General."

Beckman then looked at Sarah. "Agent Walker, despite your heroism, you have directly disobeyed several orders."

Chuck spoke then, "Wait, General. I'm sorry, but-but... isn't the most important part of being my handler, making sure that I stay alive?"

Sarah turned to him, quietly saying, "It's okay, Chuck." She had disobeyed orders and would face the consequences.

She was surprised when Casey, behind her, said, "No, it's not. Let him finish."

"Thanks. Um... General... what I'm trying to say is that... I think that maybe because my relationship with Sarah is so... You know, we're... we're close. We care about each other. That's what I'm trying to say, and I know it's not protocol or whatever, but it's those feelings that wound up saving my life."

Beckman stared at Sarah for a moment, then said, "Agent Forrest diagnosed your emotional connection as a liability. But I suppose it can also be an asset to the... well, asset." She paused again. "You may resume your post, Agent Walker." Then she looked at the other woman. "We hope not to see you again, Agent Forrest." She nodded to them, and said, "That's all," as she ended the connection.

Forrest looked at Sarah. "I'm sorry. I was wrong." The two women shook hands before Forrest headed out.

Casey had already walked away .

Chuck turned to his reinstated handler. "Welcome back, Sarah."

She smiled at him. "Good to be back. Want a lift home?"

He nodded and they walked up the stairs together.

As Chuck climbed into the Porsche, Sarah stood outside and called the hotel. She found that they had already booked the same room for her. She then called Casey. "Chuck and I are going to reconnect before I bring him back to his apartment."

Casey chuckled. "Sounded like a green light to me!"

She grinned. "Me too."

"Don't break him."

"No promises!" she replied with a chuckle.

Casey snorted and ended the call.

Sarah got into the car. "What was that about?" Chuck asked.

"Making sure I have my hotel room back." She looked his way. "Care to help me take my things back in?"

"Sure."

She drove them there.

When she walked to the desk, she was greeted and told they were glad to have her back.

She took the keys and she and Chuck took the elevator up to the eighth floor.

Once in the room, Sarah quickly did a sweep around, checking for bugs, but there were none.

Then she dropped the device on the desk and walked to Chuck, who was standing unsure what to do next.

Sarah didn't give him a chance to ask as she reached up, put her hands to the back of his neck and pulled him down so she could kiss him.

Chuck was clearly surprised, but soon placed his hands on her waist and kissed back.

She licked his lips, seeking entry and when he opened his mouth, her tongue pushed in and jostled with his. The kiss deepened until they both needed to breathe.

As they separated, Chuck breathlessly asked, "Why?"

Sarah held his gaze as she replied, "Beckman didn't say it in so many words, but she is not going to get in the way of us turning this cover relationship into a real one."

The grin that appeared on his face, along with the realization that appeared in his eyes, were just what she was hoping for.

His hands at her waist released. He wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her up to his height and kissed her.

This kiss, like the last one, was nothing like their cover kisses. In fact, they were better than the bomb kiss. Both were putting their all into it.

The passion that both had been holding back for so long was released. Sarah moaned into the kiss. She had never wanted anything this much before. Never wanted anyone like she wanted Chuck Bartowski. And how he was returning the kiss showed he wanted it just as much.

When they separated to get air, she looked onto his eyes. She'd always seen how he looked at her. A longing had always been there, but now it had changed. He was recognizing her longing for him and it was sparking a stronger desire. She felt it too. The emotional desire was the foundation, but they were building on that now. There was a sexual desire there as well.

She pushed at his chest and he lowered her to the floor. She didn't pull her hands away, but quickly undid his tie and dropped it to the ground before starting to unbutton his shirt. In no time, she had his shirt off him. She stepped back and quickly removed her jacket which joined the shirt and tie on the floor.

Chuck stepped in then and took a hold of the black polo shirt she was wearing and lifted it up. She raised her arms and he took it off her.

They both stopped then to look at each other. She hadn't seen him with no top before and she liked what she saw. His body had more muscle to it that she had expected and she liked his hairy chest. She couldn't keep her hands away and moved closer to brush her finger tips over it.

Chuck obviously liked that, as he uttered a soft moan.

Sarah felt selfish, so she reached down and took his hands and placed them on her breasts.

Chuck moaned again and when he gently squeezed, she did too, feeling her body react. He would have felt it too.

This was wonderful, but she wanted more and she wanted it quickly. They could explore each other's bodies at a more leisurely pace some other time. She stepped back and kicked off her heels then unbuttoned and unzipped her jeans to be able to slide them down.

She noticed that Chuck had gotten the message and was following suit.

When she stepped out of the pooled jeans, she looked up and watched as Chuck pulled his trousers off and then his socks. He'd started after her, but then her tight fitting jeans were harder to remove than his work pants.

Chuck stood in just his boxers and faced her in bra and panties. As he looked at her near naked body for the first time, she saw his body react.

She now felt that desire increasing. She wanted these final obstacles removed as quickly as possible. She reached back and unclipped her bra and threw it on the pile, then pushed down her panties to add to it.

She looked over at him and he was frozen looking at her naked body. She was happy that seeing her like this had such an effect on him, but a frozen Chuck was not what she needed, so she bent down and carefully helped him out of his boxers. Then, she stood and grabbed his hand to pull him to her bed.

She pushed him down onto the bed and straddled him. Neither of them needed any further preparation, but he stopped her. "Are you sure?"

She loved that he asked, and immediately said, "More than anything."

"Pro-protection?" he asked.

"Not needed," she replied and guided him.

Both gasped at the start and again as she sank down completely. She stayed still for a while, just reveling in the sensation. She had dreamt of this for so long, and now they were joined in the most intimate of ways. Then, she started moving.

Chuck reached up and placed his hands on her breasts, squeezing them and using his fingers to enhance the experience. With him doing that and what she was doing, Sarah wasn't surprised when she peaked after only a couple of minutes. She arched her back and cried out his name.

It disrupted her rhythm, but she found he was now moving beneath her to keep things going. Once she recovered, albeit only slightly, she participated too and it took less time for the pleasure to increase again.

"Are you close?" Chuck asked.

"Mmhm," she replied, unable to form coherent words. Almost immediately afterward, she peaked again with another cry. That obviously affected him and she felt his release too and he shouted her name. That prolonged her release.

She finally slumped down onto him and he wrapped his arms around her, kissing the top of her head.

She loved that feeling of their flesh touching. She hummed and pressed her lips to his neck.

She would happily have stayed like this, but knew they both needed their sleep after the day they'd had, so she slid off to one side. She gave him one last kiss, then settled her head down on the pillow. She missed the physical contact, so left one arm over his chest and her leg over his. It wasn't as much as she would have preferred, now that she knew what full contact was like, but it still felt wonderful.

They both drifted off to sleep.

Waking up naked in bed was something she rarely did, but the warm naked body she was pressed up against was definitely a surprise. Then, she remembered last night. The best night of her life.

Chuck was facing away from her. She still had her arm around him and her breasts were pressing into his back. That felt wonderful and excited her. Chuck obviously noticed the change in her breathing and rolled over under her arm.

"Good morning, Beautiful," he said and leaned forward to give her a gentle kiss on her lips.

She pulled him closer so that their bodies were pressed together again. She could feel his body responding. "Good morning, Handsome."

He trailed his fingers down her back and onto her bottom, giving it a gentle squeeze. She moaned as he did that.

He pushed her onto her back and bent over her. He kissed her neck and trailed kisses down her chest. She gasped as his lips crested her right breast, while his hand circled on her left.

In next to no time, he had her revved up and she could see he was ready too. They joined and she gasped again. "Yes, Chuck!"

It was different with him on top. Sarah loved every minute of it and they cried out together at the end.

He climbed off her and she felt the loss of contact.

"Best wake up I have ever had, Chuck."

"I never thought this would ever happen, Sarah."

She rolled to face him again. "Me neither," she replied.

They just laid there happily, gazing into each other's eyes.

The feeling of contentment was something else she had never expected or felt before.

They lay like that for a few minutes, until Sarah realized what she needed to tell Chuck. She rose and walked to where she'd dropped her bag and bent down to take the letter out of it.

When she turned back, she found Chuck sitting up watching her. In the past, he had always been so respectful and never looked at her body, or maybe she had just never noticed. However, now, he was taking her all in. She placed her free hand on her hip and posed for him. "Like what you see?" she teased.

"Gorgeous!" he muttered.

She walked back to the bed, sat beside him and kissed him. "Thank you, Chuck. You make me feel that way."

She handed him the letter. "I got this information for you and was going to leave it on your bed until I spotted your phone was there without you."

He opened the letter and read it. Then, he looked at her wide-eyed. "You found him?"

"I did," she replied.

He grabbed the back of her head and pulled her in for a kiss. As their lips parted, he said, "Thank you so much, Sarah. You're amazing." Then, he frowned. "You won't get in trouble for this, will you?"

"I don't think so," she replied.

"Maybe I can cover it up for you," he replied.

She smiled. "Using your IT skills?"

Chuck blushed, but held her gaze. "I can get in and cover up for you. It's the least I can do."

Sarah could see his conviction. She gasped. "You've been there before, haven't you?"

He nodded. "Guilty."

She was smiling now. "You're a hacker and I didn't know." He nodded and she laughed. "My boyfriend's a hacker!"

Chuck looked a bit dreamy and said, "Boyfriend… I like that."

She tried to look serious as she said, "You better believe it, Mister. Exclusive, too. That way, we keep doing what we did earlier and it wasn't just a one-night stand."

As his eyes lit up, she couldn't keep her face straight and she grinned. He replied, "It's not even nighttime."

He leaned over to place the letter on her bedside table then turned, grabbed her and pushed her back on the bed again.

This time, his kisses didn't stop at her breasts but continued down her body, but she stopped him before he got too far. "I haven't showered since yesterday morning and don't feel clean enough for that, Chuck. Thank you for wanting to do it for me, but some other time?"

He looked disappointed, but moved his head back up. That didn't stop his fingers, though and she gasped when they reached the same target.

In no time, she was reaching for him and pulling him to her.

They joined for a third time, just as desperately as before. It was as if their abstinence made them so desperate, but she knew it was more than that. Their feelings for each other had been bubbling under the surface for eighteen months and this was now their time. As before, they reached the finish line together.

Sarah could only think of one word to describe her feelings for him. She had realized it as she drove away the day before. She knew she loved him and suspected he loved her too. What they just did wasn't just sex, they had made love to each other, and she now realized how much more satisfying that was than just sex.

As they lay next to each other recovering, Sarah had to squash down a though that popped into her head. She remembered that for her it had been two years without sex, whereas for Chuck only four months. He'd screwed his ex, Jill, back in November last year. Thinking about that was only going to get her upset, so she fought off the jealousy she had succumbed to back then, and focused on what they had now.

A happier thought came to her. She turned to him. After a short pause, she added, "That was the best sex I have ever experienced, Chuck. You've spoiled me for any other guy." She knew he would like hearing that. "Now, when Devon makes any comments about us having sex, you can think of this, Chuck."

A huge smile appeared, but then he gasped and looked shocked. "Devon!"

"What's wrong? What has he done?" she asked.

"It's not what he's done, but what has been done to him!" Chuck replied. "Forrest tranq'd him and took his key card. I've got to get it back to him."

Sarah jumped up and went to the pile of clothes. She threw his to him and started putting hers on.

Chuck hadn't put his tie on before she grabbed his hand. "Put it on in the car," she told him and they headed out.

Sarah ran into the apartment right behind Chuck. He headed toward the bedrooms, whereas Sarah noticed Ellie on the couch looking upset and drinking wine. She went and sat down by the brunette. She did this mainly to ensure Chuck did not get caught by his sister, but she also didn't like seeing h er in that state. She placed a hand on Ellie's free arm. "Ellie, what's the matter?"

Ellie looked at her for a few moments before speaking. "Devon cheated on me at his bachelor party."

"I don't believe that!" Sarah said. Even without Chuck telling her what had happened, she wouldn't have believed it. Devon was a one-woman man, just like Sarah hoped Chuck was.

"I've seen photos!" Ellie exclaimed.

Sarah gaped. What else could she do. She had no evidence to dispute that. "Who showed you them?"

"Lester and Jeff were looking at them."

Sarah guessed what had happened. She narrowed her eyes. "Lester is scared of me. I'll intimidate him and get the truth from him."

Ellie put down her glass of wine and hugged Sarah, whispering into her ear, "Thank you, Sarah." She even gave Sarah a kiss on her cheek. "You're a great friend."

As they parted, Sarah smiled at her. "I'm one of your bridesmaids. It's the least I can do."

Ellie nodded and smiled at her. It wasn't the happiest of smiles, but Sarah was determined to make it a real smile when she could.

Chuck wandered in. "Hi, El. I had to rush to the bathroom and then changed out of my work clothes. We're heading out. Anything you want?"

"A fiancé that's committed to our wedding," Ellie moaned.

Chuck knelled in from of her. "Devon is fully committed," he said.

"I've seen photos of a woman all over him, Chuck. And he's lost his key card which he guards with his life. I saw her hand on his naked chest where it would've been." She looked balefully at him. "He claims he doesn't remember any of it. I don't know if that's better or worse! Anyway, without the key card, he'll probably get fired, so we can't afford to live on just my salary."

"Have you checked his things for the key card?" Chuck asked.

"No," she replied. "I assumed he'd done that."

"If he can't remember things, maybe he doesn't remember taking it off," Chuck offered. "Probably need to check his locker at the hospital."

Ellie abruptly stood up and marched through to the bedroom she shared with Devon.

Sarah gave Chuck the thumbs up. He nodded.

Ellie soon marched back in. "Idiot!" she snapped. "He'd put it in a secret compartment in his case that only he and I know about."

"Why didn't he look there?" Sarah asked.

"Because he was drunk?" Ellie said throwing her hands up in the air.

Sarah stood and walked to the doctor. She held her shoulders. "I'll get Lester's secret from him."

Ellie hugged her again. "Thank you."

They separated to see Chuck frowning. "Lester's secret?"

Sarah grabbed his hand. "I'll tell you on the way to the Buy More."

"See you, guys," Ellie called out as they left the apartment.

Sarah told him what had happened. Chuck growled, "I told them no photos."

"Well, you know how much Lester and Jeff listen."

"I'll kill them," he stated.

"No. I'll get the information out of Lester. He's scared of me," she told him.

"Hell, I'm scared of you a lot of the time!" Chuck said, but she noticed his smile.

She gave him a sultry look. "The only thing you have to worry about is whether you can keep up with me, Chuck."

He grinned. "Death by sex with the most gorgeous woman in the world. What a way to go!"

She burst out laughing.

The Buy More visit was interesting.

Sarah found she enjoyed intimidating Lester. He explained what had happened to Devon after Chuck left. "And he was unconscious at this point?" she asked. Lester nodded. "So, this stripper, dressed as a policewoman, manhandled him to let you take these photos?"

Lester nodded again. "Although she said she might want the photos, but she never came back."

Sarah wanted to get hold of Forrest and ring her neck for what she had done.

She got Lester to give Chuck access to the photos, and they were quickly deleted and the drive formatted. Lester was so scared of Sarah he volunteered the backup store, so they were removed from there as well.

Sarah leaned close to Lester and she grabbed between his legs. He whimpered as she tightened her grip. "If I find out you have another set, you won't be able to go to the bathroom for a week, while recover down here."

"No more," he gasped. "There's no more, I swear it!"

She let go. "Good. I want this wedding to go smoothly."

As they walked away, Chuck said to her, "Very, very scary."

"Hmmm," she replied.

She called Ellie and explained what had happened.

"The bitch!" Ellie declared.

"Devon knew nothing and did nothing," Sarah emphasized.

"Thank you, Sarah. I can't wait until he gets home."

"Oh, and Chuck might be staying with me again tonight." Chuck looked up at her.

Ellie chuckled. "Don't break him, Sarah."

Sarah laughed. "I'll try not to."

When they reached her room, it was still morning, but that didn't stop them going straight to her bed. Both of them kicking off their shoes on the way

"We should set off to see your dad, Chuck," Sarah said, but she was already removing the t-shirt he had put on back at his apartment.

"Yeah, we should," he responded as he pulled up her polo shirt and helped her out of it.

"We'll go straight after this," she mentioned as she pulled down his pants and boxers.

"Definitely," he said as he undid her bra while she was down there.

He pulled her up, undid and eased down her jeans, taking her panties with them.

Once she stepped out of them, he lifted her up and lowered her onto the bed, then joined her. She opened her legs and he lowered his head down there but she pulled him back up. "We'll make this one a quick one, Chuck, so we don't delay our journey. Later, I would love what you were about to do."

They joined and were soon moaning and gasping. She tightened her grip on him as she reached her high and he followed soon after.

Sarah kept her arms around him as she recovered, not letting him go. "I'm sorry if I made you do this, Chuck. Now that we've made love, I can't get enough of you."

"Oh my God, Sarah. I'm the same. I can't believe how wonderful this is."

"Me neither, Chuck," she replied, tightening her grip on him even more. "But… we should go."

"I know." He chuckled, "Probably before I crush you."

"I love you lying on top of me, Chuck. Like me lying on you, it maximizes the contact between us, but you lying on me means I am enveloped in warmth between you and the bed. I love that."

She realized she had mentioned the L-word twice then, and decided she couldn't avoid admitting more. She'd take a chance and say it. "Chuck, being sent away was heartbreaking for me. It confirmed what I knew in my heart already. I'm pretty sure you feel the same, but I am just going to say it. I love you."

She held her breath, hoping he really did feel the same way.

Chuck looked surprised, but the warmth in his eyes reassured her even before he spoke. "Sarah, I have loved you from the first moment I saw you. You telling me that you love me too makes me so happy."

She leaned up and kissed him. A tender kiss full of that love they had both mentioned and he kiss her back in the same way.

When their lips parted, she said, "Come on. We better go and see your dad."

A/N: I am stopping this here. What happens next is as in the episode. Things will definitely run a little different from there on, but as I will be covering that in my Linked story, I won't extend this one.

Thoughts on this one-shot?
