"Good Night"

Part I
Thump. Buddump. Thump. Bu-bump! Goes my heart when you walk by. Twist. Turn. Flip. Flop! Goes my stomach when I think of you. My knees go weak when you smile at me, I want to melt down on the floor, hug the nearest person, and jump for joy.
Morning comes and I put a smile on. I have friends and a new family. What I want is something more. Night arrives and I'm ready to sleep. I say good night to everyone else, but coming to your room makes my heart go thump. Buddump. Thump. Bu-bump. Opening your door ever so slowly, I see your face. You were reading a book and you look up.
Mauve meets green. A smile meets a grin. Heartbeat skips. Soul found mate. You stand up and ask if there was anything you could do. I shook my head and said that it was nothing. I said good night and leave your room. I walk back to my room wishing I could've done more.
Turning off the lights I hear a soft knock. Half hoping it would you and half hoping it wouldn't. I said come in and you came in. Surprised, I asked what it was. Concerned you said if there was something wrong. Thump. Buddump. Thump.
I shook my head, no.
You looked at me, are you sure?
I nod, yes.
One more look, well then.
I look up, well...
You walked towards me with a determined face.
I looked at you.
You kissed my cheek.
I blushed.
"Good night, Honda-san."
You closed the door. I smiled. Good night...

Butterflies in my stomach flutter by as I see your innocent face. So innocent and so beautiful, you're like a dream. Lighting my night you cam unarmed. Fought my demons. You're by my side.
Morning comes. I see your smile you offer to every person you meet. You give me one, but I want something more. Night arrives and I'm ready to sleep. I read a book waiting for you to open my door. The door opens slowly and I look up.
Green meets mauve. A grin meets a smile. Heartbeat skips. Soul found mate. I stood up asking if there was anything I could do. You shook your head and said it was nothing. You said good night and left. I saw your eyes. Read them and knew there was something wrong.
I softly knocked upon your door. Half hoping you would be awake and half hoping you were asleep. You said to come in and I did. Surprised, you asked what it was. Concerned I asked if there was something wrong. A moment of silence.
You shook your head, no.
I looked at you, are you sure?
You nod, yes.
I looked at you once more, well then.
You look up, well…
I walked towards you with a determined face.
You looked at me.
I kissed you on the cheek.
You blushed.
"Good night, Honda-san."
I closed the door. I heard you whisper good night. I smiled.
