It had taken him several tries to transform back. Each try resulted in increasing fear that he would be trapped this way. He forced himself to follow Minerva's advice and remain calm and soon found himself, all missing bits accounted for, back to normal.
He was never going to do that again.
"So how did your first attempt go?" Minerva asked cheerfully as she passed him the butter.
Severus looked at her severely.
"It never happened," he told her.
"Wha-"
"It never happened," he repeated threateningly.
Bemused, Minerva just nodded at him and, satisfied with that, he abruptly stood up and swept out of the Great Hall.
OK, I really don't know what to do with this, which should be obvious judging from this itty bitty chapter. I'm thinking of having him randomly change due to a certain stimulus (kind of Ranma ½ flavor, maybe?) but I'm not sure what else to do. Any suggestions? I'm not going to let this thing die.
