Summary: Izuku meets an old man at a nearby shrine. A year into their unlikely friendship the old man reveals his origins to young Midoriya.

When you're born the son of two great heroes, expectations are thrown in your face the moment you open your eyes and no one else knows this better than Naruto Namikaze. Born with a Quirk so weak that he ranges on Quirkless, these expectations have been hanging over him, mocking him. But when disaster strikes, he will not hesitate to protect others to pursue what makes a True Hero.

Naruto Namikaze's only drive to become a hero was to support his best friend's dream. A life changing experience however helped h change his view on heroes. T son of a missing hero and grandson of a legend watch him rise up all the while hiding his true quirk from his best friend, the girl he loves and his class. All the while facing villains and a dark past.
