Kuronue and Youko Kurama decided to raid a mansion in the Makai.
Kuronue looked at his partner and asked,"Do you think we will find anything worth something?"
Youko shrugged and said, "I don't know. I hope so. I'd like to get my hands on anything that is valuable.....and shiny."
Kuronue chuckled because Youko has some sort of attraction to shiny objects. Youko glared at him and said, "I can't help it. I like shiny objects. They're.....pretty."
Kuronue just smiled and kissed Youko on the cheek, "You just keep telling yourself that my little kitsune."
Youko giggled and said in a playful tone, "Kuronue! Stop that!"
Kuronue wrapped his arms around Youko's waist and started playing with his hair. Yuoko giggled and then said with a serious voice, "Kuronue, stop it. We came here for a reason. We didn't come for playtime. Now come on."
Kuronue pouted and let go of Youko. "But I was having some fun."
Youko smirked and said, "We can play later. Let's go and get us some treasure."
Kuronue nodded and they ran to the mansion. They jumped onto a balcony and Youko picked the lock on the window. They snuck into the mansion and were looking for anything they could take. Kuronue whispered, "We haven't found anything Youko. What kind of person lives in a mansion, but doesn't even have anything that is even worth stealing?"
Youko thought for a moment and then said, "You're right. We haven't found a single object that's even worth taking."
Kuronue was about to say something when something whizzed by his head and embedded itself in the wall behind Kuronue.
Kuronue hissed and yelled, "Damn it! This is a fucking trap!"
They both started to run through the halls, trying to find a way out. Suddenly, an arrow hit Kuronue on his arm. He hissed as pain shot up through his arm. Another arrow embedded itself into his back. He tried to catch up with Youko, but he couldn't. Two more arrows embedded themselves into Kuronue's left leg. "ARGH!"
Youko looked back as his friend and lover fell to the ground. "Kuronue!"
Youko ran back to Kuronue. Kuronue had a look of pain on his face. Youko asked, "Can you walk?"
Kuronue hissed, "No. It....hurts."
Youko nodded and picked up Kuronue. Kuronue hissed in pain. Youko ran through the halls with Kuronue on his back. He finally found an unlocked door. He broke through it and though the window and landed on the ground. He kept running until he reached the other side of the forest. There, he entered the cave that him and Kuronue stayed in. He walked in and placed Kuronue onto a mat on the ground. Youko shook Kuronue on his good shoulder and said, "Kuronue, wake up."
Kuronue squinted his eyes open and took in short breathes and said in a strained voice, "Youko, it hurts so much."
Kuronue passed out after he said that. Youko sighed and pulled out the arrows that had embedded themselves in Kuronue's back, arm, and leg. He thought to himself, 'This is going to be a long night.'
