Hey, much thanks to all those who have reviewed. I know a lot of you have
commented on the whole "Rain is naked for too long" thing, but you must
remember that they were just talking while she was naked, and talking
doesn't take that much time. So in reality, it's not like Rain was sitting
naked on Domon's lap for hours on end. Just wanted to address that little
issue. But that is all. So....
ON WITH THE SHOW!!!!!!
*-* Rain's Point Of View *-*
"And that is the Rain I'm falling in love with."
He didn't. He sooooo did not just say that.
He loves me?!?!?!
"Domon, I love the honest way we talk, the tender way we touch, and how our relationship is based on faith and trust. There is no one on Earth I'd rather be falling in love with then my best friend. I'm falling for you too Domon and I love it."
Silence.
"Wow. I don't know what to say."
I laugh out loud at smile flirtatiously at him.
"Who said you have to say anything?"
I grin as he stares down at me. I lean down and kiss him with passion only two people truly in love could possibly muster. After a few minutes, we take a breath, but our foreheads stay pressed together.
"I'm glad we're eye-to-eye on this." he says.
"I agree."
"I love it when we agree on things."
Just then, both of our stomach's growl. We start to laugh.
"I guess we found something else that we are agreeable on, eh? Go get dressed, we'll go out for some food."
"You're telling me to go get dressed? I was about to say the same thing to you mister."
I get up and change. It's raining, so it's a little cold. I put on some khaki pants and a tight, white, turtleneck sweater, arrange my hair to the best of my abilities, and head out the door, wondering what the future has in store for Domon and I.
*-* Domon's Point of View *-*
I look in my duffel bag, wondering what I packed. Being with Rain makes my heart pound so hard I forget things that happened five minutes before. I recover some slightly wrinkled black pants with a tight gray shirt. I look around for an iron. There isn't one, but I figure she won't notice. Not like she'd care really.
I walk out the door. I figure she's still in her room getting dressed, as per usual for a girl. I sit on the couch and fish around for the television remote, expecting to be there for awhile. I get down on my hands and knees when she comes out of her room, ready to leave. I sense her approach me, and she puts her arms around my neck.
"Ready?"
I stand up, startling her as I lift her weightlessly onto my back. After a short piggyback ride, I set her down gently.
"Yes."
We walk towards the door, put our shoes on, and get into my car in silence.
"Where do you want to go?"
"Hmm?"
"To eat." I reply patiently before repeating myself, something I hate to do. Except for her. She turns her gaze, looking over at me.
"How about that new place? Dominica's? It's supposed to have excellent food."
"Okay."
I start to drive there, concentrating on where the place is. But I don't have to look to notice she's staring at me. I have this weird sense. And it tells me that she's been staring at me for five minutes.
"Whatcha looking at?" I ask.
"Oh nothing. You forgot to take off your bandana."
"OH! I'm sorry. Should I?"
"Oh no, no, no. I like it. It looks good on you. Always has."
"Thanks." I say, smiling at her.
I pull up to the restaurant, and I get out of the car. Before I get the chance to, Rain gets out too, opening her own door instead of waiting for me. I turn away, disappointed that I won't have another excuse to stare at her beautiful face. But I smile in spite of myself. She's so strong. Every so often in life she needs a little boost, but she's so damn strong.
God love her.
Please God.
Keep her safe.
Please.
