Cainara: ello everyone! Ok well I don't own any of the characters except
for Cainara and Kamo! O and sorry about all the chit chat before...trust me
this chappie is full of awesome action!...kinda...
They all looked outside to see the moon full and high. It was really quite odd that they were able to spend the whole talking. But it was getting late and all of them were tired. They said their good byes and headed up to bed. While in the bed the only two who were able to sleep was Cainara and Kuwabara. Yusuke, Kurama, and Hiei were all thinking about what they were going to do. It would be a great advantaged to have her on their side. But would she except? Would she just stay with them? With the questions running through their mind they were able to lay their heads back and fall into a deep sleep.

Yusuke opened his eyes slowly to find Cainara sitting on the edge of his bed looking out the window next to her.
"Hey", he said smiling and sitting up.
She turned to him and smiled, "Thank you for carrying me off to bed", she said.
He smiled back warmly and said, "No problem". He then got up and stretched. He heard Cainara giggling and he said, "What? Never seen a guy in boxers before?" He then began to 'model' which made Cainara laugh even more. He pulled on some loose jeans and a shirt and walked down stairs with Cainara right behind him. They both got to the kitchen and Yusuke grabed cereal to eat. Cainara walked around to find Hiei and Kurama both outside discussing some former opponents they have fought before.
"Good morning Kurama. Good morning Hiei", Cainara said walking up to the two.
"Good morning Cainara. Did you sleep well", asked Kurama turning his gaze to Cainara.
"Yes I'm quite refreshed. And you", replied Cainara.
"Yes me too. Cainara, you wouldn't mind joining me and Hiei for a little talk...would you", asked Kurama motioning his hand towards the ground.
Yusuke looked up to see Cainara talking to Kurama and Hiei. He looked...and frowned hoping that Kurama and Hiei wanted Cainara to stay.
Cainara smiled and took a seat on the ground. Hiei and Kurama then did the same.
"Cainara...we all have been thinking", said Kurama "since you are a keeper...the world really couldn't afford loosing you".
Cainara looked back and shook her head in agreement, "I suppose you're right".
Kurama smiled then said, "Well if it won't be too much trouble. We want you to stay here with us. So we could help protect you".
"Besides Kuwabara is worthless and we needed a new fighter who was worthy anyway. Plus Yusuke has it in for you.", said Hiei turning his head from Kurama to Cainara and smirking.
"Oh, thank you for the compliment Hiei", said Cainara a little unsure if that was a compliment.
"I was talking about Koroshiya. I haven't seen you fight", said Hiei crossing his arms over his chest.
Kurama looked at Cainara and saw how hard she was trying to keep a smile on her face. He thought about how tired she still must be. But could sense her energy strong enough....to fight!
Kurama's eyes lit up and said, "Cainara why don't you battle against Kuwabara? We could see how well you fight and see what you need training on".
Cainara nodded her head in agreement and went to prepare. Hiei took a seat on a bench and waited for the others. Kurama went off to tell Yusuke. He said it was a good idea and ran off outside and took a seat down beside Hiei.
After a few moments Cainara came outside with her scepter in hand and her long hair tied back. Kuwabara tripped on his way out but got right back up and walked up to Cainara. He stared down at her but Cainara stared harder. He stumbled back and stood about 8 feet away from Cainara.
"Begin", said Kurama taking the last seat on the bench.
Kuwabara whipped out his spirit sword and held it out in front of him. Cainara twirled her scepter then let it rest behind her back with her right arm out in front of her.
"Interesting stance", thought Hiei watching Cainara's moves closely.
Kuwabara went for an all out attack and swiped his sword repeatedly at Cainara. But she was too quick and swayed from side to side dodging all attacks. Kuwabara went for a finally blow but missed and his sword went straight into the ground...and was stuck. Cainara saw her chance and jumped into the air left leg tucked with her right out towards Kuwabara's back. She came down so hard on him that his whole body was one big imprint in the ground. She jumped off and landed close behind waiting for Kuwabara to get up.
Cainara frowned and looked towards the others, "Is that it?" she asked.
"Did you expect anything better from that baka ningen?" said Hiei glaring at Kuwabara.
Cainara turned towards Kuwabara who was now barley standing.
"GOT YA!", he said while he threw his fist at....air? Cainara stood behind him and tapped him on the shoulder, "Um...no...you didn't", she said. Kuwabara turned around and threw a punch and Cainara's stomach. She looked down and then at Kuwabara. She then pulled back her own fist and let it fly towards Kuwabara's face. It hit him and he flew back landed against the ground and not getting up.
"I think she won", said Yusuke getting up and walking towards Cainara.
Kurama and Hiei agreed while the four of them walked inside leaving Kuwabara behind to sulk in his defeat. They discussed how Cainara's speed and strength was excellent.
"You need to control yourself in air more, that jump was a sloppy", said Hiei. Yusuke and Kurama agreed. Cainara nodded her head while taking in as much information as she could.
Kurama remembered something that came to his mind and turned to Cainara, "Cainara, you still haven't told us your decision".
Cainara turned to the three and thought, "Well I can't be a loner anymore. But Yusuke, Kurama, and Hiei were so kind to me".
Cainara smiled and she nodded her head slowly.
Yusuke's eyes lit up and he grabbed her and held her tightly. She laughed and hugged back. Kurama thought "aw" to himself while Hiei thought about the training they should work on.
Cainara's smile quickly faded and she ran outside to the front lawn. There she found Kamo sleeping silently. She saw his ears twitch and he stood straight up. She ran over to him and hugged him tightly. Kamo wrapped his neck around her back and she nuzzled herself into his soft fur. "I'm so sorry. So much was happening and I got carried away", she said into his body. "It's ok", said Kamo. ((Only Cainara can hear Kamo when he talks. Kurama can sort of hear it...since the whole fox thing and all)). "I'm just glad you're safe", he said. "I'm happy you're alive too", said Cainara looking at him.
"Is she actually talking to it", said Hiei staring through the window.
Kurama then replied, "Yes but it's talking back to her. I can't make out the words to well though".
"I suppose it's better if it's talking back", said Hiei glaring from the window to Kurama and back.
They looked to see Yusuke walking out next to Cainara. He stretched his arm up to Kamo's ear and began to scratch it and began to talk smoothly to Kamo. Kamo was not angry with this so he let Yusuke continue. Yusuke then stopped and said out back some deer roam through sometimes and that Kamo should go back and make a friend or two. ((The location of the apartment is semi city like. There is a wood out back but the city is quite busy...not New York busy...just busy)).
Yusuke and Cainara walked back in and sat down on the couch. Their discussion went onto many topics. But in the end it was decided that Hiei would make the trip to Koenma to tell him the news of Cainara's stay. Kurama will go get Yukina so she could heal Kuwabara's wounds. And Yusuke will stay here with Cainara to make sure nothing happens to her.
Little did they know a villain lurked in the bushes. He has been watching Cainara for the past few weeks waiting for his time to strike. Seeing that Cainara had been left with only a mire ningen, this was that time. He was a bounty hunter. He was trying to kill off all keepers. Starting with Cainara....luckily. His name Natiku.
