What's basically going on in this poem are two of the main characters at conflict, but this is to come much later on within "Torture from the Devil Woman: Ultimecia". I wrote this at work recently and I LOVE how I wrote this. I also love how it ends as a riddle. If any of you can manage to solve it, then I'll be impressed! lol

Crossfire

Two flames

They stand in the distance

Respectful, not disturbing each other

Two candles flickering in the night

The Lone Wolf, and the Outsider

The two little flames have something in common;

They feel like they don't belong with everybody else

The Lone Wolf has a strange respect for her

The Outsider seeks comfort in him

Standing apart, they remain silent

He dislikes it when she's speaking to him

She dislikes it when he gawks at her in wonder

The Outsider knows the Lone Wolf has questions to ask

The Lone Wolf knows the Outsider's been through hell

Why are they flames?

The both of them hold an inner rage

Rage and hate of outside forces

That push them to the edge

The tension in the air now…

More fuel for the flames

One flame breaks it to the other

Danger…

The second blows off the first

Anger…

"Go on and ask me. I know you're dying to know what I know about you."

Warning…

"My past is NONE of your damn business! You just focus on saving your family from the puppeteer!"

Crossfire…

The two flames are close together

A large fire of inner rage broken loose

Anyone that steps into the ring will be consumed

The argument rises the temperature

One cannot take the heat any longer

One flame breaks off…

And leaves a trail for the other to

Reflect upon one's self…

Which one is it?
