OK before I start, I just wanna say that I know the names are a bit weird
since I'm using a mixture of the Japanese names and English names. To me it
seems that the story is better this way. There, glad I got that off my
chest! No, on with the story!
The Biyomon Princess
Chapter 1- growing up, hating each other!
It was the first day of summer. The sun was shinning, the birds were singing, and all was happy in the Kamiya kingdom. Queen Kamiya and Prince Taichi, who is now 6 years old, were waiting for their guests by the castle gate. The Queen was looking forward to this visit, were as Tai wasn't. Tai was wearing a dark blue medieval(ish) prince's outfit and had a wooden sword attached to his belt. The Queen was wearing her best red dress and was wearing her crown.
Up in the watchtower, TK was looking out for the special quests to arrive through a telescope. He had been scanning the area all day. He was about to give up when he saw people on horses coming down the road.
"Oh, here they come, here they come! I'd better inform the others!"
TK ran to the other side of the tower and blew into a horn, informing the castle that the guests had arrived. The smile on Queen Kamiya's face grew, as did Taichi's frown.
The Queen looked down the road that led to their castle and saw the guests arriving. There, riding on a white horse, was King Takenouchi and a 4-year- old princess Sora. The King was dressed in rich robes which made him look very powerful and mighty. Upon his head was his golden crown. Sora was dressed in a sky blue medieval dress. She a small tiara on her head. Behind them were the King's bodyguards, and a few horses were pulling carriages with their belongings in them. The King stopped his horse infront of Taichi and the Queen.
"Ah Queen Kamiya, and as lovely as ever," he said to the Queen, "And who might this strapping young chap be? Young Prince Taichi no doubt." The King gave a small wink to Queen Kamiya.
"Welcome to our fair Kingdom King Takenouchi, and to you Princess Sora," The Queen said to their guests as they came off their horse. Sora looked up at her father, who nodded as if encouraging her. She slowly walked forward. Taichi on the other hand was about to run away, when his mother stopped him and urged him to go and welcome their guests. Taichi sighed as he too slowly walked forwards. They stopped once they were about a metre away from eachother.
"Hello Princess Sora, I'm very pleased to meet you," said Taichi, who was not very happy.
"Pleased to meet you Prince Taichi," said the little Princess, as she curtsied infront of the Prince. When she stood back up, she saw Taichi trying to run away again. Queen Kamiya stopped him and slightly forced her son to go back.
Taichi walked to Sora and lifted up her hand. His facial expression changed into a face of disgust, and Sora's looked like she was very annoyed! Taichi breathed in and quickly kissed Sora on the hand. Sora pulled her hand away a cleaned it on her dress. Taichi whipped his lips on his sleeve and looked back at Sora.
Taichi's p.o.v.
'I can't believe I just did that! That was disgusting! I can't believe I had to kiss her hand! And I'm stuck with her all summer! This is not my idea of fun!'
Sora's p.o.v.
'Why do I have to be here? I bet he doesn't even playing football or knows how to fight! This is not my idea of fun!'
Normal p.o.v.
Later on, as Taichi and Sora 'played', King Takenouchi and Queen Kamiya were planning the wedding. They thought that their children were getting on very well, not knowing that they hated each other! Soon, but not soon enough to Taichi and Sora, that summer was over, and King Takenouchi and Princess Sora made their way back to their Kingdom.
Unfortunately for Taichi and Sora, Autumn, Winter and Spring went too quickly and once again, as soon as it was summer, they had to meet again. They tried to make excuses, like they were ill, but their parents didn't believe them. It was like this every year. Taichi and Sora would spend every summer together, in hopes that they would fall in love.
One summer, when Sora was 8 and Taichi was 10, Taichi and his friend Joe who was also 10 were trying to escape Sora who was following them every where. They ran up their tree house in the royal garden and pulled up the rope ladder before Sora could climb in. They also put out a sign saying 'No girls allowed'. Sora was so mad, she kicked one of the beams that was holding up the tree house. This made the tree house collapse on her along with Taichi and Joe! Luckily, they escaped with only a few broken bones!
Another summer, when Sora was 13 and Taichi and Joe were 16, Taichi was complaining to Joe about Sora.
". . . she always tries to talk me into playing dress up, and she's always flirting with the castle guards!"
"I think you really sorta like her fess up!" laughed Joe
"No way Joe! Besides, she always beats me at cards!"
Although Taichi wasn't getting used to Sora, Sora was starting to get used to Taichi's behaviour and just ignored him! All the townsfolk in the two Kingdoms were hoping that the wedding would be on soon and thought that Taichi and Sora were destined to be together. They were also hoping that their two kingdoms would be united soon.
Then, one summer, when Taichi was 19 and Sora was 17, they were forced into a ballroom at the Kamiya's castle on the first night of summer. The room was painted in rich red and in golden paints. It was decorated with expensive dinning tables, which were pushed to the side of the hall. At the front of the hall, there was a large door. A flight of stairs led down from this door and spilt into two flights of stairs in the middle. Where they spilt, there was a balcony. Under this huge balcony were two doors on either side, which led to the other rooms in the castle. The floor was wooden, apart from the red carpet, which ran down the stairs.
When Taichi arrived, he just turned his back to the hall and faced the door as he heard it lock. He was wearing a dark blue Princes outfit, like the one he wore when he first meet Sora, only it was much smarter and instead of a wooden sword, Taichi had a real sword in it's case attached to his belt.
When Sora entered, she saw Taichi's back and she too turned hr back and looked at the door on the other side of the hall, which was also now locked. She was wearing a long, pale blue dress, which showed her figure. The long sleeves flared out slightly at the end of her arm. She was also wearing the necklace Taichi had given her all those years ago. (a/n: Apart from their clothes, their looks are just like their season 2 looks only slightly older ^_^)
Taichi heard the second door slam and knew that Sora was now in the room. 'Oh great, she's here now! Oh well, I'd better get this over and done with other wise I'll be in here all night!'
Sora was also thinking at the other end of the hall. 'Oh man, I really hate being here. Oh well, I'd better get this over and done with!'
And at the exact same time, Taichi and Sora turned around. When they saw each other, they were shocked and amazed at what they saw. And, in their hearts, they didn't fell hatred any more, they felt something else. Something which they had never felt before.
