The Biyomon Princess
Chapter 6- For Longer Than Forever
----
It was midnight, and all seemed quiet at Swan Lake. The full moon was shinning brightly above the castle, and the stars twinkled silently in the night sky. But not all was quiet, for by the castle moat, there seemed to be a bit of a commotion.
On the edge of the moat, there were two small digimon. One was small and green, and the other one looked like a white seal with orange hair. They were Frogmon and Gomamon (I couldn't think of anyone else!). Frogmon was making a 'pole-vault' out of reeds, and Gomamon was just laughing at him.
"Quiet! I cannot concentrate!" shouted Frogmon
"You've come up with some dumb ideas Frogmon," stated Gomamon, "but this one's a doozy!"
"Go ahead and laugh! I'll get her to kiss me, and when she does-"
"And when she does POOF! You'll change into a human prince! I know I know you've told me. Why don't you give her these flowers, these are pretty!"
Gomamon pointed so some beautiful wild flowers that were growing in a bush next to him. Frogmon looked disgusted and insulted.
"What a love dunt!" he said, " I don't want these flowers, I must have those."
Frogmon pointed to the other side of the moat. There, on a ledge next to the castle wall, on the moat, was a bush of wild flowers. But they looked exactly like the flowers Gomamon was pointing at. Not only that, but there were two alligatormon in the moat, and the looked hungry! Frogmon smiled, picked up his 'pole-vault' and jumped into a tree. He must be crazy!
" When she learns that I have risked my life for them, the kissing will not stop!" said a very pleased Frogmon
"And then, you'll change into a prince," said Gomamon.
"Precisely!"
"Mind if I point out a problem?"
"I don't take advice from peasants!"
"Suit your self"
Frogmon began to stretch his muscles, getting ready to get the flowers. The alligatormon in the lake were also getting ready. They were getting ready to eat digital frog's legs! Frogmon then started chanting to himself.
"Flowers, kiss, concentration, flowers, kiss, concentration…"
Frogmon put the end of his 'pole-vault' into a small hole by the edge of the moat. He was just about to jump, when Gomamon spoke up.
"Just curious, how are you gonna get back?"
uh-oh
Before Frogmon could get off, he was away. He held onto the 'pole-vault' as the alligatormon snapped at it. The 'pole-vault' then bounced back onto the shore. Frogmon kissed the ground, but he was still holding onto the 'pole-vault'. Just when he thought he was safe, the 'pole-vault' bounced back into the moat. Frogmon grabbed onto it tighter than ever before as it bounced back and fourth. Gomamon tried to grab him every time he bounced back, but he just couldn't grab him. And the alligatormon kept on trying to eat Frogmon, but every time they tried, Frogmon just managed to escape.
Frogmon kept on bouncing back and fourth, back and fourth, too scared to let go. Then, when the 'pole-vault' had bounced back to sore for the 50th time, someone managed to stop it from bouncing into the moat again. Gomamon smiled up at the person who had saved his friend. But Frogmon didn't realise that he had stopped bouncing, and was still shouting.
"Grab me, grab me!" he screamed, "Hold my arm, hold my leg, hold my- hold it hold it hold it!"
He smiled up at his rescuer and blushed slightly. He jumped of the 'pole-vault'.
"Oh thank you Sora, " he said, "thank you. Let me have that."
Sora handed him the 'pole-vault'. Frogmon turned and faced the alligatormon.
"Silence you savages!" he shouted at them.
He let go of the 'pole-vault' and let it hit the alligatormon on the head. He gave a small laugh, but as the 'pole-vault' came back, it hit him on the head. He fell to the ground. Sora and Gomamon rushed up to him.
"Are you alright Frogmon?" asked a worried Sora
"Yes, yes, I'm alright Sora. Thank you for asking," replied Frogmon
"What in the digiworld were you going?" asked Sora
"He thought that if-" began Gomamon, but Frogmon soon silenced him.
"I wanted to get those flowers for you," said Frogmon, pointing at the flowers on the other side of the moat.
"You're being sneaky again Frogmon!" laughed Sora
"What's sneaky!" said a rather insulted Frogmon," you deserve a nice bouquet."
"And you deserve a kiss," teased Sora
"Well alright!" said Frogmon, not realising she was kidding.
"Not while I'm under the spell."
"But my kiss will break the spell!"
"Give it up Frogmon," sighed Gomamon
"I can only kiss the man I love, " said Sora, " and then he-"
"Must make a vowel of ever lasting love," said Frogmon," I know-"
"- and prove it to the world," finished Sora
"What do you think I was doing with the alligatormon going chop chop!" cried Frogmon
"Gomamon, make him understand," sighed Sora
"I'm only a joke telling digimon!" said Gomamon.
Sora looked up into the night sky, thoughts of Taichi immediately flooding to her mind.
'If I could break this spell, I'd run to him today. And some how I know he's on his way to me. Taichi, you and I were meant to be for longer than forever, I'll hold you in my heart. It's almost like you're here with me although we're far apart…'

Taichi was standing in the royal gardens, looking up at the night sky. He was holding Sora's necklace in his hand.
'For longer than forever, as constant as a star. I close my eyes and I am where you are…'

'…Sure as the dawn brings the sunrise, we've an unshakeable bond…'

'…Destined to last for a lifetime and beyond. For longer than forever, I swear that I'll be true. I've made an ever lasting love to find a way to you…'

'…For longer than forever, like no love ever known. And with your love I'll never be alone. For longer than forever…'

'…Much stronger than forever…'
Tai held onto Sora's necklace tighter as he felt the tears beginning to form in his eyes.
----
'…And with your love, I'll never be alone…'
Sora let a tear fall down her soft cheek. She missed Tai with all her heart and wished he was here next to her.

Flying in the night sky, just above the forgotten castle, a bird type digimon was running out of energy, and fast. He had been shot in the wing with an arrow by some huntsman in a forest near the forgotten castle. He tries to go on, but his injury gets the better of him. He falls unconscious and falls out of the sky, and onto the ground.
----
Sora turned around. She had heard something hit the ground. She looked behind a bush and saw a bird type digimon with an arrow in its wing. Gomamon and Frogmon ran over to Sora, and saw the injured digimon.
"You think he's dead?" asked Gomamon
"No, it's just his wing I think," replied Sora
"What a strange looking digimon," said Frogmon
"Poor thing, " said Sora, "he must be in a lot of pain. You'd better hold him."
Frogmon and Gomamon held down the strange digimon. Sora knelt down and broke the arrow in half, and pulled it out. She then tore some fabric off the end of her dress and used it as a bandage. As soon as she was done, the digimon tried to wake I t up.
"Hello!" said Frogmon, "This is your wake up call!"
The strange digimon suddenly got up and started doing karate moves. He didn't trust these strangers. Frogmon and Gomamon ran behind Sora and hid.
"It takes more than a couple of huntsmen to keep me down!" it said
"Wait!" said Sora, "I'm your friend."
The bird digimon eyes Sora, then stared at the broken arrow in her hand.
"If you're my friend, how come you have an arrow in your hand huh! Just like the one I have he-, hey, it's gone! Where did it go!"
The digimon looked around to see where the arrow had disappeared. Sora just laughed.
"I took it out when you were laying there," she said
"You mean you had a chance to kill me and you helped?"
"Uh-huh!"
"Madame, I apologise. My name is Hawkmon."
"It's a pleasure Hawkmon. I'm Sora, Princess Sora. And these are my best friends in the whole digiworld. This is Gomamon-"
"My friends love my jokes!" said Gomamon, who had now come out of his hiding place.
"-and Frogmon," finished Sora
"I have no friends," said Frogmon, "only servants, and they call me Your Highness."
Hawkmon looked at Frogmon in a very strange way. Gomamon walked over and whispered into Hawkmon's ear.
"He thinks he's a prince."
"O-K," said an unsure Hawkmon, "Princess, I owe you, and I intend on staying, until my debt it paid."
"I don't think there's much you can do," said Sora, "he has me under a spell."
"What! You mean magic!"
Hawkmon just laughed and wiggled his fingers infront of him, thinking that the Princess was just kidding. Then, something unexpected happened. A flower came out of no where and was now infront of Hawkmon. His jaw fell to the ground.
They all looked around, a blue glow had appeared in the ruined garden. Hawkmon couldn't believe what was happening, but Sora and the other digimon knew exactly what, and who was coming.
The old, ruined, run down garden was suddenly transformed into a beautiful and colourful garden, just like the one at the Kamiya's castle. Hawkmon just stood there, shocked. He couldn't believe what had just happened. He couldn't move. Frogmon and Gomamon dragged him into a bush out of sight.
"Your knight in shining armour has arrived to set you free …" said a voice
Sora turned around and saw the last person she wanted to see. Yamato.
"… all it takes is one little word. Will you marry me?" asked Yamato
"Every night you ask the same question…" said Sora
"no, no-"
"… and every night I give you the same answer…"
"don't-"
"I'd rather die first!"
Yamato's anger was building. The spell he had casted on the garden had now run out. The garden was now back in its original state.
"You're really starting to bug me!" said Yamato
"I should think you'd be used to it by now," said Sora
"That's it! You just keep pushing missy, cause some day, I'm gonna boil over!"
"Go ahead then, but I'll never give you my fathers kingdom!"
Yamato turned around before lost control of his body and hit Sora. He was about to cast another spell, when he noticed something up in the sky. An evil smile appeared on his face. He turned back to face Sora.
"I was hoping that you would say that you'd be mine, " he said, "but, it looks like you need another day to think about it."
Yamato pointed up at the night sky. Sora turned to see what he was looking at.
"No!"
The moon had almost gone. Sora started to walk to the lake, as if she was hypnotised by the moonlight. She stood a few metres off the shore, in the middle of the water. The water was now glowing around her.
The water started to rise, glowing brighter than ever. The water formed into a tube like shape and surrounded Sora, and as it covered her from head to toe, she began to cry. Then, the glow became dimmer and dimmer, as the tube of water disappeared. And there, where Sora used to be, was Biyomon. She turned away from the shore, and felt fresh tears roll down her cheek. Yamato walked away, still angry that his plan hadn't worked yet.
'I must think of a new plan to get the Takenouchi Kingdom.'
When Yamato had gone, the digimon came out of their hiding place. Frogmon and Gomamon were used to this happening to Sora, but they still felt her pain. Hawkmon was as shocked as ever. There, infront of his own eyes, the princess has been turned into a Biyomon.
"Princess…"
