The Biyomon Princess

Chapter 12: plans, preparations and prisons

-----

The moon shone onto Swan Lake, and the castle on its shore, as Sora's sobs continued into the night. Her digimon friends tried to help her, but they were unsuccessful. She just cried even more at the thought of not being able to see Taichi again, or to being set free of the spell.

As she cried by the lake, inside the castle, Yamato was trying to come up with a plan. Mimi was giving him loads of ideas, but as usual he didn't listen to her.

"No matter what they do, I'm always one step ahead," said Yamato

"You? Don't you mean us?" asked Mimi. Yamato, as usual, just ignored her and continued to pace up and down in the main hall, which was now in ruins.

"On the other hand, Prince Taichi's vowel could ruin everything!"

"It sure could, that's why we-"

"I'm gonna have to deal with him, but how?"

"Well you could-"

"I know! I'll make Taichi make the vowel to the wrong princess. But who could be the princess?"

"Well I could be-"

"That's it! I'll make you look like Sora!"

"Oh wow, what an idea. I wish I'd thought of that," said Mimi sarcastically. But once again, Yamato didn't listen to her.

"Now it will take a lot of work-"

"HEY!"

"-But it'll be worth it! Cause when he makes the vowel to the wrong girl, Sora will die and I'll finish Taichi off myself! This plan of mine is great!"

"Sure is. Because I thought of it," mumbled Mimi.

At the Kamiya's castle, preparations were under way for the big ball, in which Taichi will find his bride. Taichi had made it back in time to make a few changes before the ball began that night. He rushed into the room, his head full of new ideas and plans.

"Mother, have you-"

"Oh Taichi, welcome back!" said Queen Kamiya

"What are these?" asked Taichi as he pointed to a large bunch of red roses in a vase next to the Queen.

"They're roses," said Queen Kamiya

"They're red," said Taichi, a little annoyed

"Of course they're red, dear."

"But mum I don't want red roses. I want pink like a Biyomon. Have you seen Joe?"

"No."

Taichi then heard the music the band was practising. He knew that it wasn't right and walked up to Izzy.

"No no no no no!" said Taichi, "Izzy hold it!"

"What's wrong?" asked an annoyed Izzy

"Tonight the music must be played roboto (not sure if that's right!). Soft and graceful, like a Biyomon!"

"A Biyomon?"

"Have you ever seen a Biyomon Izzy?"

"Of course I have. They're small and pink."

"If you could play a swan, what would it sound like?"

Izzy thought for a moment, then pointed to one of the musicians. A tuba player picked up his instrument and played a very loud note. Izzy just laughed.

"Soft and graceful Izzy," said Taichi before he walked away. He then spent the next few minutes looking for Joe, but he couldn't see him anywhere.

"Has anyone seen Joe?" asked Taichi, frustrated

"No one has seen him Taichi," said Queen Kamiya

"You're kidding? Who's gonna be my best man?"

"Best…you mean?"

"Yep, that's right!"

"Oh Taichi!"

As the Queen jumped up and down with joy, the band began to play a very romantic song (just think of the song 'for longer than forever' which I do not own!)

"That's the stuff Izzy! Play that tonight!"

"Oh don't be so secretive Taichi, tell me who she is?" said the Queen

"Sorry mother, you'll have to wait!"

-----

It was the night of the ball, and the moon was no where to be seen at Swan Lake. Sora had changed back into Biyomon and was trapped in a flooded dungeon. Yamato had just dropped some roses into the water beside Biyomon from the dungeon door, which was about 100 metres above where Biyomon was floating.

"It hurts me to lock you up like this," said Yamato, "it's hurts me deep. But then, a King's day is full of tough decisions. You understand?"

Biyomon gave Yamato and evil glare (tough for a bird type digimon,) and then attacked the roses in the water with her beak.

"Now you're made at me again," said Yamato sarcastically, "I can't do nothing right! Head full of hair gel! Well, I can't leave you like this. If you're not happy, I'm not happy… I know! If you can't attend the ball, I'll bring the ball to you."

Biyomon just turned away. Even just hearing about the ball made her cry, for Taichi would not be able to set her free from this spell.

"Let's see," continued Yamato, "The first thing you'll need is a young man."

This caught Biyomon's attention. She looked up at the evil man, expecting the worse.

"The prince is busy of course," said Yamato with an evil grin on his face, "But I think I can arrange a substitute!"

Yamato stepped out the way ass Mimi brought in the prisoner. It was Joe, and even though he was a man, he wasn't as strong as Mimi!

"The poor boy got lost in the woods!" said Yamato

"Please…please don't do this!" said Joe to Mimi

"I…I'm sorry, but I have to. Please forgive me," said Mimi, as she gave one final push, a let Joe fall into the water.

There was a loud splash as Joe fell into the water. For a few moments, he didn't return to the surface, but after a minute or two, he came up and reached for one the chains that were hanging off the walls.

"I'd love to stay but, if I don't leave now I'll be late," said Yamato, as he gave one last look at Biyomon.

Biyomon looked up at Yamato and gave a pleading look, hoping that it would melt his heart and make him set her free. Unfortunately, Yamato didn't seem to have a heart anymore.

"Don't look at me like that!" said Yamato, who was now full of rage, "had to be sneaky, didn't you? Had to drag your weak little prince into this didn't you? Well, that's fine with me, just FINE WITH ME!"

Yamato slammed the dungeon door and left Joe and Biyomon alone in the dark, gloomy, flooded dungeon.

Outside, Hawkmon, Frogmon and Gomamon looked at the castle. They had heard Yamato's shouts, and where trying to think of a plan to help Biyomon escape, and find Taichi before it was too late.
