Chapter #2
Back at the sanctuary Brennan laid the young girl down on table in the lab.
"Is she going to be ok" asked Emma
"I don't know" answered Adam
"She's shaking" said Shalimar
The young girl lay on the table shaking as if she were cold.
"It's not that cold in here" said Jesse
"I don't think she's cold" said Adam
"I think it's a reaction of some kind. I'll have to do some tests"
An Hour Later
"So is she ok?" asked Brennan as the group all came back into the lab.
"I'm not sure" replied Adam
"Come and have a look at this" he said pointing at the screen.
The group moved over to were Adam was standing. Looking at the computer screen they could see three different picture of DNA.
"I think someone may have tampered with her DNA" said Adam
"What do you mean tampered with?" asked Shalimar
"Well, look at this" said Adam pointing to the first picture.
"This is what normal human DNA looks like"
"This is what her Mutant DNA looks like" he continued pointing to the second picture
"And then I found this part of her DNA"
"I've never seen anything like it before"
"It's like someone tried to give her more mutant abilities"
"Who would do something like that?" asked Emma
"I think the more important question is who could do something like that" replied Adam
"I think I know someone" said Jesse
