"You've been doing remarkably well, Harry."

I tore my eyes off of the sky and turned to my bushy-haired friend. Hermione wasn't looking up like the rest of the students waiting on our guests for the duration of the Triwizard Tournament. Beauxbatons was set to arrive first, according to the rumor currently floating around. I couldn't actually remember which one arrived first from my memories. In the end, I decided to watch both of the arrivals with a childish wonder.

Wasn't every day you get to see a herd of pegasus fly a carriage through the air after all. Nor was it everyday you get to see a submarine ship. Fascinating magic, really.

"Well thank you." I responded to Hermione. "I've been working pretty hard recently."

"Yes I know. You've made me study more, to make sure that I have higher marks than you. I still don't understand how you resisted the Imperious so effectively." She elbowed me with a grin.

The wolf inside refuses to be underneath someone else's control.

I looked back to the sky. "I haven't been doing it for the grades you know?" I asked, curiously. I still couldn't see our guests anywhere in the sky or Black Lake.

"What do you mean?" Hermione asked. She was staring at me, and I tried to ignore it. Wasn't she interested in what was about to happen at all?

"Well there are a couple of reasons. You and I have a unique perspective on this whole magic thing, yeah?" I responded rhetorically. "Magic is fascinating, and the average witch or wizard doesn't truly appreciate it. I decided this summer that I would try to learn and understand magic, because how bloody awesome is it?!"

I smiled and turned back to her before looking in her eyes. She was still staring at me, with an intensity that I hadn't seen from her.

"But the main reason I study hard, and learn so much magic, is so that I am never at the mercy of another witch or wizard again. We're always finding ourselves in trouble. It would be nice to stand on equal ground with my opponents, instead of always being the less powerful." I revealed, telling her of my true reason behind my drive the past few months.

The crowd around us roared, and I looked to the sky to see the famous carriage flying in. The way it moved in the sky seemed chaotic, but I knew that the people inside it probably wouldn't feel a thing. Magic was an amazing thing.

Shortly after they landed on the grounds, I looked to the Black Lake, where a disturbance could be seen in the waters. Then, a ship that looked like it belonged in the Pirates of the Caribbean shot out of the water causing mists and rainbows to appear where the water flew.

I smiled. The magic of this world never got old.

The Great Hall looked much differently than normal.

There was nearly no wasted space, compared to how it normally sat. There were extra tables near the front of the hall, for esteemed guests of the Ministry of Magic of several countries. I could even see a certain pin on an older wizard that told me he represented the ICW for the tournament. The assistant to his side was a dark haired beauty that I just couldn't help but stare at for too long.

Barty Crouch senior sat at another one of those tables, along with the rest of his crew that had organized the tournament. The Goblet of Fire was encased in the same contraption that the movies depicted, waiting on Dumbledore to reveal it dramatically.

There were even extra tables in the hall for the two new schools that would grace us with their presence shortly. I sat near the middle of the Gryffindor table beside Hermione and Ron. Both of them were too excited to sit there quietly like I did however. They chatted with our housemates, theorizing on what was happening. Most of them didn't even realize it was the Triwizard Tournament.

Dumbledore stood up and made his way to the podium. He held his hands out, and everyone in the hall quieted, except for the occasional rowdy student.

"As you know, we have guests who have arrived earlier this evening. I hope you enjoyed their dramatic entrances." Dumbledore started, as the twinkling in his eye shone across the room.

My defense professor Mad-Eye Moody, aka Barty Crouch Jr., entered the room via a side door and moved to his position at the professors table. I watched very carefully as the magical eye in his left eye socket flickered to where Barty Crouch Senior sat at the Ministry table.

Dumbledore began to speak again, but I couldn't help but tune it out. I wanted to pay attention, but my mind was immediately thrown into the coming months and what it could mean for me.

I still had yet to devise a way to oust Moody as Barty Crouch Jr.

Well, that wasn't exactly true. I had plenty of ways to oust the man. I just hadn't decided who to oust him to. My first thought was McGonnogal, as I had access to her more frequently than any other Professor. I was hesitant however, for fear of her safety. Crouch was willing to go to extreme lengths for Voldemort, and I didn't want her to be added to the list of victims of Voldemort.

Another option was Snape, but I didn't trust that he would do the right thing. After all, he might take the opportunity to get into Voldemort's good graces if he knew that he was trying to get resurrected soon.

I knew that he probably hated the man due to how he killed my mother, but I couldn't find it in myself to trust him. Our last big blow up was still hanging over his head after all.

My only real choice was Dumbledore. He was probably the only person I trusted to handle the situation appropriately. But how did I reveal it to him? He was always busy nowadays, and I found myself unable to approach him recently.

It was a curious dilemma.

Filch scattered down the middle of the Great Hall back outside, causing students to laugh at the way he ran. He was such an odd character, it was hard to defend him.

"More on the dangers of the Triwizard Tournament Later! Join me in welcoming the lovely ladies of Beauxbatons, and their Headmistress Madam Maxine!" Dumbledore said as he began clapping and gesturing towards the doors of the Great Hall.

As one, the entire student body turned towards the doors as they opened. I watched silently as the most attractive young women of Beauxbatons did their famous entrance. Most of the male population adopted a pathetic look on their faces.

Something sweet touched my nose, and I couldn't help but sniff at it.

My heart accelerated, and the blood in my body immediately rushed to my crotch against my will. I would have been embarrassed if I wasn't busy fighting off the images in my mind of me grabbing and breeding every single one of them right then and there.

I shook my head and forced the images away.

"Are you alright?" Hermione asked, as she saw my reaction.

My ears burned as I realized what was happening. I nodded at my friend, yet I couldn't help but notice how plump her lips were so close to me. Once again, I forced the images of my defiling my friend on the Gryffindor Table away in my mind. Disgust ran through me as I realized where my lust and thoughts had taken me.

Hermione is a little girl for God's sake. Get it the fuck together Harry!

The disgust at myself seemed to chase all of the lust in my body away at that moment.

The Beauxbaton students were finished with their entrance and Fleur's unmistakable form was doing her curtsy towards the people in the hall. My nose sniffed again, only this time I was prepared for my reaction and I beat it back into the furthest corner of my skull. It didn't stop my pants from tightening even further however.

Her Allure… is it pheromone based?

That was the only reasonable explanation I had for my reaction. She was like a bitch in heat, and I was a horny wolf. We all know that there was almost no stopping a wolf when those circumstances came about. Yet I did, because I had no choice. Even against the instincts that demanded I do something about her.

Luckily Fleur found her seat, and nobody was any the wiser about my reaction. Except for Hermione, but she only saw me acting weird. I was surprised to see that Beauxbaton young men had also made the journey from France and were already seated at their table. I didn't remember the books mentioning anything about them but it made sense in my mind.

The doors opened more violently than last time, and the Durmstrang students started to make their entrance into the Great Hall.

I watched with keen eyes, but distracted thoughts. Even after they had already sat down. Even after Dumbledore had introduced us to the rules of the Triwizard Tournament. Even when I scarfed down my food.

I could not escape the sweet smell that filled the Great Hall.

So I left it in a rush, which caused my classmates to watch me like a hawk and whisper their cruel comments to their friends. I couldn't focus on that, however.

I was breathing heavily by the time I made it to the Seventh Floor. I was currently invisible, to stop anyone from following me.

"Harry?"

I turned to the voice that was a couple of hallways down. It was Hermione, and she had somehow managed to track me to the top floor. I sighed, but made to walk in her direction. It was easy to get lost in Hogwarts, and she wouldn't stop until she found me. I could show her I was alright and tell her to fuck off.

"Not quite, but I'm sure we can make for better company."

My ears twitched at the sound of the new voice. I didn't recognize it, but I recognized the Eastern European dialect that it held. For some reason, that put me on edge. I quickly began sprinting down the hallway in their direction.

"What do you want?" Hermione asked the Durmstrang student that had followed her. At least, that's who I assumed had followed her. I was working on only hearing until I could get there.

"Your boyfriend, Harry Potter. Where is he?" The rough voice asked her calmly.

I made a right, and resumed my sprinting.

"He's not my boyfriend." Hermione protested, just as I expected her to. I would have laughed if I didn't fear for her safety.

I made another right, where I heard her voice coming from and there they stood. There were three Durmstrang students, two male and one female. The leader was the male towards the front of their party and he was holding his wand by his side. That was an indication of aggression, and I did not take kindly to that.

I moved forward, as they weren't very far. I was soon directly behind the three of them.

"Where is the werewolf?" The student had apparently had enough of hiding their intentions. He raised his wand when he asked the question.

I made my decision then. They had sealed their fates, raising their wand at Hermione. And tonight of all nights was not the time to try and fuck with me. My blood was still howling inside of my veins. I could practically hear it.

I reached out to the veil that was covering my body and magic, making it invisible. I pulled on it, and lifted it from my magic and body. Without warning, I became visible behind the three Durmstrang students.

I touched my wand to the lead student's neck.

"Are you threatening my friend?" I asked rhetorically.

The person on the receiving end of my wand froze once he heard me and realized where my wand was. Hermione frowned in my direction.

"Shit!" The single female Durmstrang student said as she turned to where I stood.

There was a lull in movement after the initial shock. Everyone was still processing what was going on, but the boy on the other end of my wand didn't move. He was smart. Or at least he wasn't dumb enough to try anything.

"Of course not. We were just having a conversation…" The student said as his voice suddenly developed a shaky tone.

"Don't be a pussy Igor, he's bluffing."

I turned to the female to my right. She was gripping the wand pointed at me so hard that I was afraid she might snap her own wand on accident. Despite what she said, I could see the faint shake in her hand as well.

"Yea Igor I am bluffing. Please make a sudden movement…" I whispered in his ear, loud enough for everyone to hear. I couldn't help the smile that split my face when I said the words.

I really did want him to move. Violence sounded like such a great option at the moment. It would be just what I needed.

"He's not bluffing! He's not bluffing!" Igor said as he slowly moved his hands out beside him and then dropped his wand on the floor. "Drop your wands!" He commanded once his wand clattered off the ground.

I glanced at the female, as the only other male in the room looked scared shitless. He had yet to even draw his wand. He just watched with a pale face. The female however, started to glance back and forth between myself and the Igor character underneath my wand.

I smiled as I saw her lips then, as if she came to a conclusion.

Just like in all my other fights, there was a moment when time seemed to slow. This time, it was when she began to raise her wand towards me. The spell flew from her lips almost as quickly as her wandwork.

"Stupefy."

Of course, I was prepared for it.

I stepped backwards, avoiding the stunning charm that raced through the air. Only I twirled my wand at Igor in front of me. Had I needed to, I would have pronounced 'accio'. But my summoning charm had no need for words or incantations. In fact, I was so accurate with my spell that I pulled Igor into the path of his friend's own spell.

I had expected her spell to knock her friend out. However, her pronunciation had apparently been a distraction for her real spell. A spell that her friend would pay dearly for.

Instead of her stunning charm knocking her friend out. Her cutting charm sliced a half an inch deep line across the right side of Igor's neck, biting into the artery inside of it. Blood splattered on my face and part of my shirt as he turned with the spell.

Sneaky bitch.

The world was still in slow motion for me when he hit the ground. I didn't have time to ponder her deception. I just acted. I flicked my wand, and a red spell smacked the Durmstrang female student in the face, breaking her nose and knocking her unconscious.

The world resumed its normal speed.

"Ahhhh!" Igor screamed.

"Ahhhh!" Hermione screamed.

The other male Durmstrang student fainted on the spot.

Damn it all. This was supposed to be a normal school yard brawl. Now I have to save this boy's life.

I dropped to my knees and wrapped my hands around the boy's throat. Not in the sense that would choke the boy out, but in the sense of trying to keep his blood inside of his body.

"Dobby!" I yelled quickly.

'Pop'

"Mast…"

"Retrieve Madam Pomfrey at once! Tell her a student is bleeding out on the seventh floor and teleport her to me!" I ordered, without allowing the House Elf a moment to even finish his sentence.

The boy underneath me didn't have very long to live.

'Pop'

"Glrrrk."

"You dumb bitch!" I roared at the unconscious girl on the floor to my right.

The boy underneath me began to spit up blood from his mouth. No longer did he scream. He only tried to breathe without inhaling blood, which seemed to be a very difficult task. I could hear the pulse in the boy's chest start to slow. I could feel the pulses of hot blood on my hands get weaker. Even still though, I felt nearly nothing for the person in my arms. I found it very odd as I sat there trying to save his life.

It seemed like an eternity before I heard the sound of Dobby arriving again.

'Pop'

I looked up to see that it was not Madam Pomfrey, but instead Professor Snape that Dobby had brought to me. A memory of him healing Draco of wounds caused by Canon Harry flashed across my mind's eye. I deemed him good enough to save the boy underneath me.

"Move!" Snape snarled as his attention went to the boy in my hands, who was going eerily still.

I did as he asked, and another spray of blood squirted out of the neck of the boy. Yet Snape did not flinch when the blood splattered all over him. His wand went to the boy's neck, and he began mumbling. I watched on with fascination as he traced the wound on the boy's neck with his wand. It started as an open cut, and when Snape's wand moved over it, it sealed into a ropey white, thin, scar.

Within a couple of moments, Snape had healed a lethal wound with a couple of words and a bit of intent. In my past life, I wouldn't have even tried to help save the boy. It would have been a lost cause. Yet, now I knew that he would survive if he had access to blood potion's within the near future.

"We need to get him to the infirmary! He needs a blood potion!" Snape yelled while he whipped his wand. A red light leapt from his wand and sank into the boy's chest, knocking him unconscious but very delicately. Then he flicked his wand and Igor's body began to levitate.

I stood still, despite the fact that I was covered in rapidly drying blood, and standing in a massive pool of blood that ran in the cracks of the stone the castle was made of. Snape didn't even notice that I didn't follow him. I refused to. There would be repercussions and I was trying to think about them to the best of my ability.

Hermoine snapped out of her stupor and moved towards me.

I held a hand up to her on instinct. "Don't move!" I told her. She froze where she was immediately. "There will be aurors soon, and you cannot have his blood on you. Stand over there, shut up, and let me do the talking, do you understand?!"

Hermoine's lip quivered, but she nodded at me.

There was a flash of light behind me, and I turned to the source.

One will never be able to forget the sight of Dumbledore being teleported by the phoenix in the air above him. It was hard enough to describe. They just appeared in a flash of fire. However, what I didn't know was that Fawkes could teleport more than one person.

Because the curious form of Kingsley Shacklebolt was standing beside Dumbledore with his wand in his hand. That was not much of a surprise, considering I had seen the veteran Auror in the Great Hall the night before at the ministries table.

The Elder Wand was pointed in my direction at a moment's notice.

"Do not move Mr. Potter." Dumbledore spoke with his voice, but it was impossible to tear my eyes away from his gaze. It was like staring into the eyes of a dragon, and had I not been who I was I would have been frightened.

The other scary aspect of the situation was the palpable magic in the air. I could smell it, I could feel it. It suffocated my skin and made it hard to breathe. And I was staring at its source. It felt like the sun had surrounded me. It was hot, and oppressive.

I couldn't help the small quiver my hand made as I peered at the man that had single handedly brought Grindelwald to his knees in front of me.

I had already put my hands up in the universal sign of surrender. But I did notice that my wand had somehow found its way back into my hand after I dropped it to put my hands on Igor's neck. It was threaded between my fingers, and its presence was comforting.

"That is a lot of blood." Kingsley said as he stalked forward with his wand ready.

"I can explain everything." I said calmly and clearly, while refusing to move.

Dumbledore did not have anything slightly approaching a grandfatherly demeanor. He had a conqueror's demeanor. I imagined it must be like standing in front of Odin in the Marvel universe.

But I still kept my cool as they approached me.

"Speak." Dumbledore commanded as his eyes took in the scene.

"When I left the Great Hall, Hermione followed. I was using the Cloak of Invisibility, however and she got lost. These two, along with the owner of this blood, followed her to get to me. When I found them, they had their wands trained on her and were asking her where I was." I said while making very slow gestures around the room while talking.

"I walked up behind them and put my wand on the neck of the individual threatening her. The same one with Snape at this very moment." I continued, while gesturing to the blood underneath me.

"That is no excuse to attempt to murder him!" Kingsley roared as he trained his wand on me.

"I did not! I swear I did not cast the spell that did that to him!" I retorted, just as loudly as the veteran Auror. "I will give you my wand to prove it."

"Then who did!?" He yelled the question again.

"Her!" I said as I nodded at the unconscious and bloody faced girl on the ground. "She turned her wand on me and spoke the incantation 'Stupefy'. I moved backwards roughly where I am standing now, and the spell connected with her friend's neck. Only it wasn't a stunning charm, it was a cutting charm." I explained as clearly and calmly as I could.

"It's true! She said 'Stupefy'!" Hermione shakily agreed as she pointed at the girl on the ground.

Kingsley looked towards Dumbledore, who gave the auror a nod. That was a signal for him to move forward and peel my wand out of my fingers. He ran his own wand over it and cast a spell without using an incantation. I would have liked to hear that incantation and look it up. It seemed useful for the future.

"Stunning charm, Summoning charm, and nothing within the last hour after that." Kingsley said as he looked up at Dumbledore.

There was a pause as we all took in that information. Then they lowered their wands as one and the oppressive magic in the air disappeared. It was then that I realized my heart was beating so fast I thought I was close to a heart attack. I was also breathing rather hard, which was weird considering my physical shape was top notch because of my workouts.

Kingsley slowly walked back and handed me my wand. "Put that away and don't bring it out again!" He snarled at me as he passed me on the way to the girl on the ground.

I quickly sheathed it and stood up straight while trying to get my breathing under control. It took me a moment, but I got it and my heartbeat to acceptable levels. I felt a hand on my shoulder, and I looked to see Dumbledore there.

"I'm sorry Harry. I had to be sure." He apologized, as he adopted his grandfatherly demeanor once more.

In this situation, I could only nod at him and accept it.

"Cutting charm is the girl's most recent spell, Headmaster. He's telling the truth." Kinglsey said just as the Seventh floor got many many more visitors.

"What have you done to my students!?" Karkaroff's voice yelled as he stomped into the room with his wand drawn.

"Put your wand away, Karkaroff." Mad-eye Moody responded as he waddled behind the man trying to keep up.

Karkaroff immediately went to the downed girl off to my right. I had to give him props for being worried about his students. Even if the girl was a bitch and deserved much worse than what I gave her.

"Alastor." Dumbledore called out while his grip on my shoulder tightened and he led me to the old Auror. "Take Ms. Granger and Mr. Potter to their common room while we get this sorted out."

Hermione ran down the hall and I waited for her to get there. She practically leapt into my arms and started crying as she did so. Alastor took the lead, and I practically carried the distraught girl in my arms all the way down the stairs to our common room.

She didn't shy away from the blood on my shirt or hands. She was completely catatonic. It was probably a good thing too, because she would have noticed the entire school that had lined up on the stairs to come watch and witness the latest drama.

I was covered in blood nearly head to toe, yet I kept my head held high and shielded Hermione from the other students along the way. I walked in a daze, not really thinking about what was going on. Yet I did have a single thought when I collapsed in my bed that night.

That's one way to use the testosterone flowing through my veins.

A/N: Boom!

I got a wild hair and reread this story. It sparked another chapter from the confines of my mind. Maybe I'll even write another one to follow up, who knows.

We get an interaction with Harry and Hermione. I feel like of everyone, she will be the one that is willing to stick next to Harry's side through everything. Ron, well we know how he is. Let me know what you guys think about that!

Also, Fleur's allure has an extremely profound effect on Harry. What did you guys think of that and his reaction?

Then we get more people wanting to punish Harry for being a Werewolf. Of course we do. Then we get a little action sequence with a bit of a surprise yeah?

Let's talk in the reviews!
