Chapter 1

Sighing, he gazed up from his luggage, and saw articles of clothing strewn all around the room. His cell phone seemed to stand out to him as he tried to finish the task at hand. Starting to pick up his Joe Boxers and his black cargo pants he silently cursed himself for agreeing, thinking about her, he wondered if she would wait for him like they promised each other—well, like he promised her.

"Time to go! The cab's here Fluffy-sama!" hollered Rin from downstairs, sighing in defeat he closed the suitcase and mentally made a note to tell Rin to send him anything he might have forgotten while he was still cussing at himself. He looked down at his cell phone once again and wished she would call if by chance then so be it. 'Stupid!' That would never happen, reason? She didn't know he was leaving to Tokyo to study at Tokyo High; he didn't have the guts to tell her, that's why. She was probably at a movie with her friends, and wondering why he had stood her up. Then again Kouga seemed more than eager to take his place. He walked to the doorway and before he left his room he chucked his cell phone our through the window and heard a deafening howl, Inuyasha will never learn to stand away from the window, then again, when has he ever learned anything new? Can't teach old dog new tricks.

Downstairs he wondered again why he had agreed to go with his father's will and why he hadn't so much as kissed her before he left, after all, a hickey was better than nothing, right? Oh well, too late for that, and with that final thought and a look around the house and the couch they used to snuggle ahem made out on.

The taxi honked the horns loudly and he told himself not to give him a big tip. After loading his suitcases he entered the taxi and was about to close the door when he heard her voice, great, now he was daydreaming, how was he going to pass high school like this?

"Edmonton International Airport" he told the driver.

"But sir, don't you want to take a look at that beautiful young lady outside you window?"
