This is just a revised version of the last one I had up. I added a few things, mainly about the birds and dogs.
Disclaimer: I don't own Pokemon, Blah, blah, blah.
It was dawn and the sky opened to reveal peace between the two Warring Ones. It was decided that Lugia would dwell in the depths of the ocean and Ho-Oh in the sky, among the clouds. But. Before they departed they would create their own, to take over in their absence.
First, Lugia went to the center of all water currents and created four islands. One for himself and one for each of his children. Then, he created Articuno, a bird with wings of glistening ice crystals. When she beat her wings, snow fell around her graceful body and when she sang, it echoed through the freezing heavens with such passion, anyone who heard it fell into a spell of awe. Moltres came next, the bird of fire. Dancing flames burst from her wings and her talons shone like the purest gold. Finally came Zapados, the bird of lightning. The air around him crackled with electricity and with a single call, the sky became black with intense thunderclouds. He gave them each an elemental orb that personified each of their abilities. Last, he made a stone tablet and a flute made of shell, and gave them to the humans, telling them to use them if the elements ever became unbalanced and his children broke out fighting. And after he did all this, he dove beneath the dipping waves of the sea.
Now, Ho-Oh on the other hand, went to a small town called Ecruteak and built her own tower. Here, she created four bells representing her and her children. The crystal bells shone with a silver brilliance and destroyed every trace of pain or sorrow in anyone who touched them. Ho-Oh felt the North Wind blow and created Suicune. Her elegant body sparkled with pure water droplets and wherever her dainty paws touched water, it became untainted and clean. Next came Raikou, the dog of thunder. His teeth glistened like polished diamonds and his roar made lightning slice through the darkened sky and thunder boom through the clouds. Lastly was Entei, ruler of the volcano. With every pawstep, volcanoes erupted beneath his feet and thick crystal spread like spider webs. Finally, she told the townspeople that when the bells rung, it would be a sign that one day soon she would return. With this done, she flew up into the heavens, only descending to those few trainers who were destined to become masters.
And after the Beast of the Sea and Air had claimed their domain, the earth was left in its original state of peace and tranquility. For the first time in many years, a peaceful wind caressed the springing grass and flowers pressed through the unthawing soil.
