"Sorry I was.....distracted by a thing... have your eyes always been so..."

"And that would be the third time youve said that..:"

"I'm not a nice person anymore Danny."

"Yes you are."

"No! I'm not. I dont even like myself most of the time, I'm cranky and erodible, I dont joke, and not at all the person you think I am...or was..or thought I was..the point is Ive changed. Just as much as Im sure youve changed in the last eight years. Am I right?"

"I dont think so." he looked at her.

"Okay well, there ya go...I mean most people might change a little."

"Not so much."

"Yeah, well.....Believe me I'm different."

"In fact I think your pretty much the same woman I fell in love with."

"Yes...yes they are. " Danny walked closer. "Danny why are you walking closer? Danny?" He didnt answer. "Danny no. " She backed her self into her wall. "I think its best if you just.." CJs tense body and words feel as Danny kissed her and made her body turn to mush. Danny lifted up and leaned back for a moment, his hand still on her waist. He knew what he had done to her. "Well its nice to know something havent changed."

"Nothings changed CJ."

"Nothings changed. " She said still in her kiss afterglow. Danny leaned in closer."You know Josh has this theory?"

"Really?" Danny leaned closer

"Yes, " She said half sly/half scared. "He has this theory that on the last day, the last day of school.. The last day of war, last day going into war..... The last day of work....last days, soldiers going off to war...well,..... things like that.... "Dannys eyes lit up. "People...ah... sleep together. Desperate times and all. "She was caught by his mouth for a moment;distracted. "And.... Its just the combustion of years of pent-up. "Danny kissed CJ and she was carried by his kiss, pushed up against the wall, till Danny lifted up for air. CJ continued talking as soon as she was able. "AAhhh....Pent-up something...and the whole..ummm... anticipation and fear of the last...... day just kind of explodes..and I just dont want us.....I mean we waited so long and..And then... " Danny kissed CJ again. "But hey whats twenty four hours anyway." Danny smiled.

"Twenty two actually."

"Oh, whatever. "CJ grabbed Danny by the tie and kissed him this time.
