Ice: It's finally here. My poem/song fic called Listen. If you think about it, you might can almost figure who it's about.
Bakura: Ice does not own Yu-Gi-Oh. The song/poem thingy is hers.
One bright sunny day, a little boy was wandering around his home. He was attempting to keep up with his older brother who was currently dashing around searching for a misplaced report. He called out to him several times.
Listen
Can you hear me?
Can you see me?
He wasn't having much luck. His brother seemed to be ignoring him. He acts like he doesn't notice me anymore, thought Mokuba.
I want you to listen to me
You never have before
I really don't know why you would now
Seto always seemed to be busy with one thing or another. Sometimes he was never really in touch with reality while he worked. He didn't even notice Mokuba as he walked towards his desk while saying something.
Something has been on my mind
Don't turn away from me
Just hear me out
Mokuba tried to talk to him as he walked up to his desk. He knew the older Kaiba wasn't listening. Still, he tried to be heard.
You never pay attention to me anymore
It's like you see right through me
You never hear me when I say lets do something together
Seto looked up, glanced around, and went back to typing. Proved my point, thought Mokuba. All he wanted was to do something with his older brother.
It's like you don't have time for me anymore
You're always so busy with everything else
I just wish we could have fun like we used to
Mokuba was about to give up when his brother looked up at him. Now he looks at me, thought Mokuba. So much for trying earlier.
It seems like I have your attention now
Were you listening to me?
Of course not. I'll just love you for who you are anyway
It was then that Seto asked his little brother if he wanted to go out and get ice cream as soon as he finished. Mokuba gave up on thinking about how deaf his brother acted. Later that day, they were seen walking down the street with ice cream looking at various shops.
