This is my first story. It probably stinks, but I have to start somewhere.
Disclaimer: I don't own Fire Emblem 7 or any characters in it. Well, I own a copy, but...
The stable people called me Streak. Not because I had a stripe, but because I had a mean streak, a stubborn streak, and a winning streak. I was their problem horse. I refused to be sold. The potential buyers admired me for my sleek golden mane and my speed, but when they attempted to mount me, I would consistently kick them. Where it hurts. They all figured I would never be sold. I wanted to get out of this dump, but I had to maintain my reputation among the other horses.
So when the green armored knight came in, I didn't get my hopes up. He paced briskly along the row of horses. He stopped at when he saw me. His brown eyes lit up when he saw me.
"Aha! This horse," he exclaimed to the stablehand, "This horse is gallant and the ladies will love it!" He pulled out a bag of money and reached inside. "How much?" the brown-haired man asked.
"Don't you want to, ah, try him out?" questioned the bewildered stablehand.
"What about... 500 gold?" offered the knight.
"Good enough."
The foolish buyer handed over the money and my stall was opened. I glared at them, but allowed myself to be led out of the stable. My reins were handed over and the stablehand retreated into the stable.
